Clarkson Eyecare

I’ve been going to Clarkson Eyecare for several years and have always received great care. With the closing of the Tylersville office, I recently made my first visit to the Union Centre location, and the great care continued! The appointment was quick, thorough and easy — from scheduling to exam — and the staff members were extremely pleasant. Special shoutout to Sally and Steve, who were very kind, patient and understanding when I had insurance issues (at the fault of my employer, not the Clarkson office). They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Thank you so much to a fantastic team!

I've already recommended Clarkson Eyecare to a couple guys at work, gave them Steve Osterkamp's number. My wife got her prescription safety glasses here and loves them, so I checked them out for myself. Literally saved just shy of $200 on the exact glasses I wanted. Oakley frames, transition and progression lenses. Nice!

Dr. Winterbottom, has been great. Getting me fitted in these sclera contact lenses. So much more comfortable than gas rigid lenses. I'm a truck driver and I take my eyes pretty serious lol.. as I think everyone does. Staff is very cordial and it's a nice clean environment. Can't recommend them enough! They also fitted me for glasses that no one else could fit me for. Because of the varying ranges between my eyes 😁 very happy!

I use to love going here and Dr Winterbottom was always so thorough and spoke with understanding. The staff was always pleasant and knowledgeable to deal with. This year’s visit has been nothing but trouble. No communication, multiple calls into them, the staff doesn’t know what’s going on. Hard to say reach the dr. I have no idea how the break down of communication has gotten so bad here. I’m just one person out of a lot but I will not be returning to Clarkson eye care.

Steve did a great job helping us find rebates and save money. He also adjusted an older pair of glasses I had to help them from sliding down my nose. Great service and super friendly!
