I had a really disappointing experience at this office and will not be returning. I booked my appointment online and had trouble adding my insurance because I’m a dependent under the plan, but I figured it would be sorted out when I arrived. When I got there, I was the last appointment of the day, and it immediately felt like the staff were annoyed that I was there. One employee helped me at first, but when I asked another staff member if they had everything ready, she responded with attitude and said something along the lines of, “No, because she didn’t insert or give us her insurance.” I was then asked to fill out paperwork that I had already completed online. The forms they handed me literally had the information I already submitted printed on them, so it felt unnecessary and disorganized. What really bothered me was hearing staff talking about me unprofessionally while I was sitting there, making comments like they didn’t understand why I hadn’t filled things out beforehand, even though I had already done so online. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The actual eye exam was quick, which I appreciated, but the experience afterward was frustrating too. While picking out glasses, the sales associate repeatedly tried to push add-ons after I had already said no multiple times, and she kept adding them to the total anyway. I also have insurance, but instead of trying to use it, they seemed more interested in having me pay out of pocket. Overall, the entire experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and uncomfortable. I definitely will not be coming back.
