I was early for my appointment like I was told to be. The staff was running late. Only 2 people were on time for work! They took people back who's appointment was after mine. I was not comfortable having my eyes dialated. I was told you either pay 200 for the pictures, we dialate you, or we dont see you. I felt I had no choice. The guy told me...I said I dont have a choice then do I. You have to dialate them. He said, you have a choice and I need to verbally consent to the dialation. Then said I need you to affirm you are saying yes. The doctor came in and told me they felt I was combative...I was the one having a panic attack and in tears because of the behaviors of the staff. I talk with my hands. He said dont touch me. After I was trying to settle myself he told me I needed to talk to my primary care dr and that if I was gonna panic I should bring someone with me. During the time I was there...the receptionist pulled in almost hit my car she was flying so fast. I sat in the area by myself ....staff in the back and patients in rooms...for at least 15 minutes. If my insurance didnt mandate i go there I would have left! The doctor made a point to tell me he left others waiting so he could get me out and that he loves his staff. He didnt want to heard my experience. Told me its my perception!
