Clarkson Eyecare - Arnold

This is difficult to rate. Overall, the service I receive is excellent. Dealing with the administrative side of the business is very annoying. Several months ago, I made an appointment for my annual eye exam. Two weeks before the pre-planned date, I received notification that my appointment was cancelled because the doctor was no longer around. I needed to reschedule. I called immediately, rescheduled, and THOUGHT everything was well. A few days later, I received notification that I must confirm my appointment within 24 hours or the appointment would be cancelled. The problem was that I was now out of town with limited cell phone service. Of course, I did not realize this until I returned, checked my messages (both email and cell phone) to see all this has occurred. Now I needed to reschedule. Which I did. On top of that, I was told if I did not cancel (if necessary) within 24 hours, I would be charged $40! Not that I had any plans to cancel, I was annoyed that I was receiving this threat!!! What needs to happen is CLARKSON EYECARE pay ME for the inconvenience they caused ME!!! If I am under threat for a cancellation fee, the SAME SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THEM!! I will find another opthomologist for my eye care. The employees are not the problem; the corporate side is the problem! Stay away from corporate-owned chains like this!

Julianna was absolutely amazing and helpful. She made the experience so enjoyable and her attitude is fantastic. Very knowledgeable in all areas of the business. Give this woman a raise!

I absolutely do NOT recommend this office. Absolutely horrible experience. They have 5 people at front desk and none of them know how to smile or communicate. Then you visit the ‘doctor’ who also does not communicate. Seems to be the tone here. I left both visits more confused than I was going in. Needless to say I had to start the entire process over at another eye doctor. And they were much better at treating a customer how they should be treated. Let’s not even go into how they are way more expensive than anywhere else. I’m still waiting on my refund for contacts I never received nor wanted. Go somewhere else!!

The team of professionals at this practice are highly competent and their friendly demeanor ensures a comfortable environment. I consistently have a positive experience at this office.

Dr. Kassel and the ladies at Clarkson Vogel are always great and helpful. Michelle was helpful in helping me pick the right frames.
