This was my first visit to this eye doctor’s office, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the warm welcome when I arrived to the final purchase process, everything was smooth and professional. The doctor was excellent, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality eye care and exceptional customer service.
I was going to come here hoping to have a new eye doctor. I made an appt April 13th for April 22nd at 4:20pm. The person who "made" my appt must of been on something. I left work earlier than expected and drove all the way to St. Cloud just to be told someone didn't do their job! I have proof of my 8 min 14 sec conversation with someone at this establishment for that date / time. I was offered a new appt another day but no thanks we already started off on the wrong foot.
I want to start by saying that I have been a client for two years now and the staff is absolutely amazing. They are very friendly and attentive and I always enjoy my visit. I deducted two stars based upon my recent visit about two weeks ago. I arrived and I let the ladies know that I would only needed an exam to update my new eye glasses and that I have not been wearing my contacts the last year so I did not want the contact exam because I would have to pay for that out of pocket. This was in my chart but, when I got to my exam with the doctor she did not read it or pay attention to this information and caught it after she completed the glass and contact exam. When I went to pay for my glasses I was told that I was charged $60.00 for the contact exam that was not covered by my insurance. I asked if they could have this charge removed because I declined the exam in the beginning and I did not think it was to be charged for services I did not eat. After they spoke with the physician she said she would not remove the charge and that now I have an updated contact prescription. This was very upsetting to me because I want a provider that will provide the services I asked for and not make me pay for things I declined. So I now have to find a new eye doctor because this way this was handled does not sit well with me. If this was handled properly I would not have to switch providers next year.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Whitney Miranda at Clarkson Eyecare and her incredible front desk administrator, Gillian. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the sweetest, most friendly staff who truly make you feel welcome and cared for. Dr. Miranda is knowledgeable, thorough, and takes her time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel confident about your eye health. She is professional while still being warm and personable, which is the perfect combination in a provider. And Gillian? Absolutely amazing. She truly goes above and beyond. She handles everything, including preliminary testing, contact lens fittings, follow-ups, and anything else you may need, all with patience and expertise. It is rare to find someone so dedicated and genuinely kind. If you are looking for an eye doctor, this is 100 percent the place to go. Exceptional care, exceptional people, and an all-around wonderful experience every single time.
