Clarkson Eyecare - Morrow

This is my second year coming to Clarkson Eyecare in Morrow. Awesome team. From the front desk, to the doctor. Dr. Stapleton super efficient and personable. Briana was the one to help me check out. She was fantastic, very personable and helped me look at several frames. I didn’t feel rushed and it was a great experience overall. Would recommend this practice to anyone in the area!

Both of my daughters in the last year had appointments here and both were charged large amounts for false charges. First daughter was with grandma, during the exam she complained of dry eyes which might I add is a question on the paperwork it asks, so they recommended drops then attempted to charge for a physician visit that they didn’t ask about hundreds not covered I went inside and argued the amount and it was removed but had I not showed up at the end they would have taken advantage of a minor and a grandparent and charged the money for a medical visit that was just part of an eye exam. So don’t ever ask for any recommendations of drops or ect cause apparently they don’t take most medical insurances and they don’t include it as an optometrist visit lol. Second daughter over 18 just going to appointments alone now went for annual even stated would not be getting contacts due to dry eyes and barely wore hers they did not complete a contact fitting she did not try on any contacts which would be included in a fit seeing she stated she couldn’t barely wear contacts cause of the dryness or go back for any return checks for a new fitting or trial she was not asked and did not sign the yes consent to a fit but was charged 130 dollars. When she asked they lied and stated you have a different insurance they didn’t pay for your exam which was not true it was the exact same as year prior. Then when she told them she asked and it should have been covered her annual they then stated they didn’t know for her to call insurance. We then got a copy of the bill and they now refuse to refund and state she did get the contact fitting and it’s automatic not an optional decision or fee and so again another lie because not everyone wears contacts and two other household members who went for a annual did not get the fit and were not charged. So again just taking advantage of a young girl who doesn’t know better and now is out 130 bucks that she shouldn’t be. But we will continue to keep reaching out despite being ignored on calls and messages til the refund is received. Do not go here!

Dr Stapleton is a very knowledgeable optometrist, the folks who work the front desk are incredibly kind and supportive! Genuinely a wonderful experience!

Dr Stapleton and his team are the best! Very attentive and customer oriented. He truly cares about his patients. Office manager and staff are amazing . Thankyou for the excellent customer service.

Clarkson Eyecatr is becoming too large of a company. They are starting to charge extra $$$ for each test/p rocedure. BUT Dr. Stapelton & his assistant Lynn at the MORROW office are friendly , professional and knowledgeable. Thank you once again 🙏
