I had been a patient of Clarkson but a different location. For some reason, when I appeared for my appt., it had been cancelled and I was never notified. However, they managed to fit me in and took their time with the appointment and then fitting me with my new glasses. Def a thumbs up and would recommend.

After my first visit as a new client I left in a pair of “fresh” new contacts to test out. The doctor suggested I switch to one day contacts. When I got home, I realized the box looked discolored so I checked the expiration date and the contacts expired over THREE years prior, EXPIRATION 3–31–22. This is 100% unacceptable. I’m not returning and do not recommend this office.
I had an appointment scheduled this morning at 8am and received multiple messages confirming my appointment. When I got to the office, the door was locked. I knocked and no one answered. I waited a bit longer and saw an employee park and walk towards the back entrance. So I figured cool, she'll at least let me in because it's freaking freezing outside. Waited a bit longer and knocked again. No answer. So then I call the centralized number, got put on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to call the office......they got no answer. At that point I'd been waiting outside for 20 minutes, so I left. Communication and customer service are important. The fact that I saw someone go into the office but never come talk to me was unprofessional and ridiculous. I supervise an ortho clinic and if the office is running behind we let the patients know. If we see a patient waiting outside the office, we don't just ignore them. We let them into the waiting room, explain the situation and give them the options to wait or be rescheduled. Even if you don't work as a registration associate, you can at least communicate the situation. I read through some past reviews and it seems like this exact situation happened to another patient a month ago, except the RA finally did show up but was rude to the patient. So, please work on improving customer service with the staff and be courteous enough to communicate with your patients; don't just leave them standing outside.
Ashley was wonderful professional with her customer services she took the time to explain and made sure I was aware of my next’s appointment
I had an 8:00 appointment this morning. I received repeated texts informing me to arrive at 7:50. I arrived at 7:45 and there was no one in the building. At 8:00 I called the centralized number and was put on hold so they could attempt to call the store. I was left on hold until 8:10 so I hung up. At 8:13 the front desk employee was dropped off and began to open the store. I gave her a minute to get settled and entered the store. When I came she asked if I had an appointment. I informed her that yes I had an appointment at 8, which I was told to arrive at 7:50. She looked at me as if I was the problem and proceeded to sign into her computer. I asked if the doctor was even there and she got an attitude with me and said no the doctor wasn’t even there. At that point I canceled my appointment and left. If the front desk woman would have even attempted to apologize or was contrite in the least I would have stayed. However, her poor customer service and the offices complete lack of respect for my time means I will be finding a new eye doctor after using Clarkson Eyecare for 5 years.
