Clear View Optometry

Clearview Optometry on Highland provided a good overall experience when I brought my son in to get glasses. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they did a nice job helping him feel comfortable during the exam. It’s always appreciated when a place takes the time to work well with kids and explain things in a way that’s easy to understand. The eye exam process was smooth and professional, and the doctor took the time to answer our questions about his vision and what type of lenses would work best. They also had a good selection of frames to choose from, which made it easier to find something that fit well and that my son liked wearing. The office itself was clean and organized, and the overall visit felt well run. The reason for four stars instead of five is that there was a bit of waiting during part of the appointment, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, it was a solid experience and a good place to go if you need an eye exam or glasses for your child.

Went to to Costco and they didn’t do a good job with my wife’s prescription.. We stopped by there and they took care of her. She was able to see clearly with her new glasses. Had issues with the frame and they replaced my glasses for free with another frame. Definite, recommend them. We’ll go again for our yearly exam.

This is by far the best optometrist I've ever been to. Dr. Zhu was very attentive and thoughtful during my appointment. I felt listened to and taken seriously as I explained my vision problems. The machine that Dr. Zhu used for my eye exam was very high-tech. The lenses that the staff members cut for my frames were good quality and made efficiently. Erika, the technician who helped me, was incredibly patient with me while adjusting the nose pads and arms of my frames. I thought the overall facilities were quite fancy and well-maintained, and there was a great selection of frames to browse through. I had a great experience here, and I will absolutely be coming back!

I went to look at sunglasses and had a pair ordered so I could see them in person. I was told they would call me in 5 days when the glasses arrived, and almost two weeks later still no call. I followed up and received an apology and was told they never heard back from the manufacturer but would call me the following day. Again, I received no communication from them so I went and bought glasses somewhere else.

I would avoid going to this place if you want good customer service from the staff and professional help. I have gotten glasses here twice now and both times there were issues. This last time, I had issues with the frames because after wearing them for a day, I had realized that they fit me tight and were giving me a headache. I was never advised by the staff that the frames could not be adjusted (basically it is what it is- without breaking the frame). After the fact, now they decide to measure the circumference of my face. Which at that point was too late. I had talked to the manager that the frames were too tight and she simply did not care that the issue was not my fault. Very rude. I had to pay $30 to get a different pair of frames (when the staff could have easily told me that frames could not be adjusted). And i would have looked for a different pair before saying yes to the ones I had ordered. Staff here doesn't give recommendations, or offer professional advice/help like other optometry's s do. I will not be coming here again. I thought this place was good, but it's truly not.
