I have been bringing my family of 8 here for the last 7 years. Came to our appointment Saturday and upon arrival they told us that they have a new machine they use to scan your eye & that insurance doesn’t cover it. “$50/ person due today, right now”.. They failed to tell me this prior to my appointment. We only get what is covered by insurance so I don’t ever expect to pay anything going into exams. I let them know I’m a single mom & in between jobs & simply could not afford it because I wasn’t even prepared to pay anything. The lady told me I could just reschedule when I could pay it. I told her I will not pay for something separate from the normal exam & that I’m aware that doctors offices are not allowed to charge patients for things outside of the normal exam and refuse service if they can’t pay for it with my specific insurance. The lady said nothing other than refusing to see us. I called another office while sitting in their waiting room. Made sure they accepted our insurance & wouldn’t refuse service all together if I didn’t want to do something my insurance didn’t cover. Also, my daughter mentioned after we left that the front desk lady was laughing under her breath when I would look away. Unpleasant and unprofessional. I will be reporting this wherever I can & also contacting my insurance to let them know what happened. They will pull your contract for violating patient rights.

Staff is efficient. Dr Sara Haghani is the star. Her thoroughness & professionalism is top notch. My appointment had a specific issue and Dr. Sara broke it down, evaluated the activity of my issue, then, explained completely what caused it and how to remedy it. Well done, doctor.

I had a great experience at this LASIK clinic. The entire team was professional, kind, and very supportive throughout the process. They answered all of my questions with complete patience and made sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. I’m extremely satisfied with the results, and I’m so happy that I no longer have to rely on glasses. I noticed a change with my left eye. I went to Sam’s Club optical. They were terrible from start to finish. My exam script was no where close. I used my benefit on my clear glasses and paid out of pocket for the sunglasses. Got them and could not see a thing, they made my problem worse. They did another exam and corrected my script and took my glasses and re did them. And again the script was no where close. I was out 600 bucks and could not use either pair. I went to Clearview for a second opinion , I had used them for 15 years and they were always great. But we had moved across town… I will make the drive. They are accurate the first time. They are very helpful, especially when you’re trying to pick out glasses and you can’t see yourself ! They also adjust them and fit them, which was another surprise that I had gotten from Sams Club. They did nothing to adjust them. Not even tightening a screw if I could take a picture of what the girl working there did you would laugh not heating him up and adjusting him around your ear. She basically just bent them where the arms will eventually break off because of it. Imagine my shock when she was bending my Oakley sunglasses like my five-year-old would do. I have found it is so much better to go to a reputable place they are reliable. They are competent and their customer service is impeccable and I will never use one of these cheap off-the-wall kind of places ever again when it comes to getting glasses so I can see… The other scam was telling me I possibly had macular degeneration!!!! Excuses for having to do my glasses twice and still not getting them right was that I had a astigmatism dry eyes And cataracts so it wasn’t their fault yet Dr. Crutchfield did the exam got my eyesight back to 2020 and I can see perfectly The drive is worth it Dr Crutchfield is worth it. He knows what he is doing. He has been around the block for a very long time. If you want something done correctly, and when it comes to your eyes, don’t go cheap. I’ve always loved my glasses They have the best selection of frames in town, beautiful designer fashions, as well as glasses for kids contact lenses and a great big wall of the frames that are free with your insurance, which is still bigger than the selection at Sam’s Club . The professionalism and quality of your Dr Crutchfield I would recommend 100 times over their staff is tremendous and so willing to help And they actually know what they’re doing as well as being able to look at your face and tell you what type of glasses what shape would look better and even the size of the glasses which is not what you get in those fly-by-night places
