I've been coming to this place for nearly a decade and it was always a great experience. Until today. When I spoke with a staff member on the phone two days ago to confirm my appointment, they informed me that my copay was only $10 with my insurance. Today I come in and do my exam with contacts that I felt was rushed, I'm ready to pay, and only then I'm informed that my contact lens exam is $60, which makes it a $70 copay with insurance. I was not prepared for this. I don't bring up the conflict in the middle of the office and I paid it but I did call them back to give them the opportunity to assist me with a solution. I inform the staff member that I was not initially informed by the staff member I spoke with two days ago and I'm a bit confused about the situation. (They obviously didn't bother to look up my account to observe that I wear contact lenses when I was initially told it is $10). They say nothing without even an offer to a solution, finalize the phone call, and didn't seem to give it a second thought. Very unfortunate.
