Dr Amy was amazing. She explained everything in detail to us. Our first visit. We waited maybe 30min as new patient but had a very thorough exam! Very pleased with today's visit!!! Unfortunately had to get glasses but everything went very smooth!!!

Nice-looking, clean, and professional place overall. The listed opening time is 8:00 AM, but the eyeglass/optical area does not actually open until 8:30. For those of us who were counting on getting in and out before work, that extra half hour makes a difference and was pretty inconvenient. It would be helpful if the optical department's hours were clearly listed separately so customers know what to expect before making the trip.
Called Clemson Eye because I had an urgent issue with my eye. Britany made sure I had an appointment within hours. She went above and beyond to make sure I saw someone same day. The office staff and nurses were fantastic at the Halton office. They were very thorough with tests and Dr. Paddada was awesome. He took time to explain my issue and put me at ease. He has a great chair-side manner.
I am not someone to leave bad reviews but I’m very disappointed with my experience with my visit. I was a new patient looking forward to finding a new eye doctor after mine closed down, I also didn’t love them and wanted a new practice. (The dr I was seeing there happens to now be working here). I was treated like I’ve been there before and the staff was not very outgoing which is fine I don’t expect that, where my problem is, is that I waited a long time to get called back, then was put in another holding room where I had to wait another 20 minutes and then put in a room where I waited 27 minutes for the doctor. I kid you not the doctor walked in and was in the room for less then 7 minutes start to finish. She asked no questions to get to know me and told me nothing about herself (which isn’t a deal breaker) however being a new patient to the practice I’d hope they’d make me feel more welcomed. Once she “checked” each of my eyes I thought she’d put both the lens on so I could check if I could see with both prescriptions to make sure all felt comfortable but nope she turned around and said I was all set to go. I then was handed a folder to walk myself to the front mind you I had no idea where I was even at so I felt lost and awkward having to walk myself out. It didn’t feel like a very smooth appointment. The lady at the check out was very kind and patient so shout out to her. I then was charged for not wanting my eyes dilated and opted for a photo of them instead which confused me because I was under the impression i could opt out of that because I had talk to the girl on the phone about not wanting that done. I then had to pay extra for wanting contacts. When I got home to order glasses I couldn’t find the PD number which I thought would be listed on my prescription since I paid for a full eye exam however it’s no where to be found. I called and the lady said I had to come back in the office for that. All and all it just felt disconnected and just weird I didn’t like how long I waited for how little care I got as well as to not even get a full eye exam. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re someone like me who likes to feel like they belong and are truly cared for.
Not the warmest welcome when you walk in the door (I’m sure they’re doing a ton of paperwork and it’s hard to stop immediately and acknowledge the patients, but it would feel a little less like I’m interrupting them if they did). Otherwise, nice staff. Best part was they had a waiting room with toys bc I had to take me 2 little ones with me. So I didn’t have to stress as much about them behaving and waiting well as I was thinking. The doctors are always quick and helpful and kind.
