I saw Dr Murphy at the Avon Lake location. From the time I walked in the front door, until I left. I was very comfortable. The scheduler, the medical assistant, Dr Murphy, to picking out glasses all were very friendly and made me feel at ease. I have already recommended this office to 3 friends/family and I was just there yesterday!
This was my first visit here with my wife who has come here & been seen by Dr Ward for 8+ years. My experience was very pleasant & positive. All of the people there were very nice & helpful & Dr Ward I feel is exceptional. He’s a very caring man who spends time with you to ensure you have all your questions answered. His staff & him give a thorough examination & moves you through the process as quick as they can, but this office is busy! People were in/out like ants so he’s popular. I happen to have something that may need laser surgery & he didn’t mess around, he made sure I was put on the schedule to be seen by a popular Dr in Avon office who does this procedure. I was impressed, and I will definitely recommend this office to my friends. My wife before my appointment raved about Dr Ward and she was right! (Yes, I’m admittedly saying publicly my wife was right). Don’t hesitate to go to this Dr! You’ll be glad you did. ( They’re moving their office to a new location from Lorain to Amherst in May 2026). Be sure to know that!
They truly make you feel very important! Everyone that works there is so nice and respectful! And Dr. Ward is so sweet! He truly takes time to listen and never make you feel like he is in a rush!!!
My wife Donna had an appointment today at the Cleveland Eye Clinic in Avon Lake and we had a great experience. The office is very comfortable and welcoming, and the entire staff — from the reception desk to the doctors and technicians — were extremely kind and professional. Everything went smoothly, including the insurance process, which was quick and easy. They also have a large selection of glasses to choose from. Overall they took great care of Donna and made the visit very easy. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for quality eye care in the Avon Lake area.
The whole staff is awesome. They do a through eye care .... Dr went over everything she finds. And makes sure you understand what she finds .I learned alot about my eyes.I an a diagnosed diabetes. She explained all about what it can cause . Also told me about my high blood pressure can cause issues . Found cataracts and explained how big they were .Fit me in her for an eye exam for getting my new glasses I will need. to help correct my vision .As I do not need my cataracts remove yet . Dr O. is the greatest!
