Clinicas Del Camino Real

There are NO DOCTORS at this clinic only PA. Lately, I’ve been bumping into lots little issues at East Simi Clinicas. 1st example) There seems to be a disconnect with medication prescription / Auto/renewals. I have to constantly follow up with Clinicas to approve refills that my pharmacist submits. The front desk admins are good, they always try to accommodate me and my family with appointments. 2nd example) I arrived 2 min late to an appointment, the front desk tried to get me in, but the provider would not allow my 2min tardiness and I lost my appointment. In my opinion, the Providers or Back office can be a little more sympathetic. My family and I have been long time Clínica members, way back to the Roberto Juarez era. As a member -I would even take part in Clinicas food drive feeding the needy. Recently, i feel a disconnect and I am no longer feeling valued at Clinicas East Simi. ****Update**** PA renewed my prescription for the WRONG AMOUNT (14day instead of 30). Again, I have to be proactive and be the one notifying Clinicas of the errors. I requested a call back and was told that the provider can take “up to 3 days to call me back!” Unbelievable. 🤞 ***Second Update*** Thanks for your quick reply Clinicas Google Admin. As you suggested, I called the number you provided and spoke to Alondra. I’ve have tried to explain my issues to the clinic. I will possibly try another Doctor or PA at Madera Location. I am so satisfied with my visit! Dr. Setto, Amanda was very attentive and caring. I've never had an optometrist notice my astigmatism before. :) Best contacts I've ever had! The staff could have a better attitude, but besides that, Im happy.

After my divorce 5 years ago, I lost my medical insurance which was carried by my Ex-Husband. Clinicas has been very helpful in getting me the proper doctors and medications for my chronic pain condition. In addition, they assisted in putting my life back together with Women's Health, Mental Health, Dental Services and Chiropractic which were pleasant bonuses! I even take my 13 year old daughter there for chiropractic as they fo take all kinds of insurances and my daughter is still covered under my ex-husbands work plan. The only part about Clinicas I don't like is how to schedule an appointment. You need to call a central call center for your first appointment and may have to wait weeks before your appointment. I recommend making your appts in person if you can. Other than that, my experiences with Clinicas over the last 5 years have been great. Everyone that works there has been helpful and genuine. They will even help you sign up for services at their offices. I highly recommend Clinicas Del Camino Real for anyone who needs medical services and doesn't know where to turn if they just lost their insurance or if just starting out.

Had an appt for my son At 4:45 on a Wednesday, rushed home from studio city to get him there for them to tell me that the doctor didn’t show up that day not a phone call. Nothing letting me know. Very disappointed..

The staff at the East Simi Valley Clinic was great, from my check in, the girls at the front desk were very nice and quick. Medical Assistant, Jennifer, was very helpful to me answering my concerns. She was courteous and kind to me. The Nurse practioner who did my exam, (I forgot her name?) Was very nice too, my exam was quick and easy, no discomfort! I was a Medical Asst. before from my previous career and understanding the routine in the clinic from check in, exam, and followups. Being a patient coming to this clinic, has been a great experience. Thank you to everyone!
