Very knowledgeable optometrist! She diagnosed my daughter with a very rare condition that is treatable, if caught early. My 10 year old daughter has gotten the cutest frames for the past 5 years. My husband has been very pleased with this office for over 25 years.

I'm not happy having to write this review. My redone glasses aren't working and I'm sorry to say that I don't think they were redone. I can't use them. Basically, the entire lens is out of focus, especially the reading which they had remeasured but came back with what I had first time. I like the staff there. They have been very nice with a big selection of glass frames. They said I should have the prescription checked and I said no because I got the prescription from another doctor and then their doctor rechecked them, so why would I need to have the prescription checked again?! I think they were just sitting there until I had to call and see if they were back from being remade. In the past, the staff always called when the glasses were back. This time, they didn't. Glasses are probably the important prescription a person needs to have made correctly and I can't wear my beautiful new glasses. I don't like posting reviews, let alone bad reviews.

They only seem to care about making $ and protecting themselves. They use to be but are no longer customer service oriented. They charge for a contact lens fitting, or you don't get contacts. RIDICULOUS! There are two people at lunch time and god forbid one is on the phone, the other can not take a payment. I left and they called me back to make my payment. Maybe they should have had the new girl on the phone and the experienced one help the customers out front. Not only did she call me back, she said she could not submit my much needed eye glasses that would take 10 to come in, unless i went back and made a payment. She offered me to pay over the phone, but i wanted to pay cash. She would not extend me the courtesy since i had been a loyal customer for 30 years, and kept telling me she couldn't submit eye glasses w/o payment. I told her to cancel the whole thing.. I'm going to another eye doctor.

I had been looking all over for glasses that would fit me in a size 50 in purple, I went to several different places and they didn’t have any to fit me in purple so I went to Americans best in the same shopping center and they didn’t have any I saw diamond optometry along the way and went and checked it out, my first time there with great experience the guy who helped me was very friendly and very knowledgeable, he made sure the glasses fit me properly and suggested a few things to me, I found a pair I really liked they were a size 46 and I needed a 50 or 51 well he went out of his way to stretch the glasses out so they could fit me while explaining that the size differences and I tried on circle glasses and they seemed to be what I wanted and I never had circle glasses before, overall the experience was very good and hopefully I continue to like the glasses and the service in the future.

My appointment with Dr. Joanne Parungao had been a very pleasant one! She was very considerate of my opinions and answered all of my questions in a simple yet thorough manner. Her diligence, professionalism and friendly nature made me very comfortable. She even went as far as to examine my computer glasses after I've pointed out the effects it had on my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Joanne Parungao!
