I simply love the courtesy, consideration and thoughtfulness that was shared. I love that they also have a very large selection of beautiful frames i had to try on many frames before I finally decided which ones I wanted with the help of the sales rep she was honest about my selections and helped me choose what was best. Also o have to include the octogologist she was very kind and so sweet. Thank you Cohen on Broadway and 12 street. Your amazing!

I’ve been coming here for years and always have a great experience. The optometrist is fantastic and does thorough eye exams every time. They’re also super helpful with contacts, adjusting glasses when they’re crooked, and updating my prescription. Highly recommend!
These people will rip you off. I came in for a routine annual eye exam, expecting to pay my standard $10 co-pay. Instead, I was charged $49 - $10 for the exam plus an additional $39 for fundus photography that I did not request or consent to. When I raised the issue, staff declined to issue a refund despite my multiple attempts to resolve it. The billing system here appears to have real problems, and the lack of transparency around add-on charges is frustrating. Easier to just avoid this place altogether!
The doctor thinks she knows everything, but she doesn't. She didn't listen from the beginning. The two attempts didn't work out, but she said there was nothing better she could do. She said doctors have this problem with me every two years, but even so, the prescription is good for two years. Because this doctor didn't listen, I only lasted one year. Yesterday I put in my contact lenses and my vision is blurry. I'm definitely not going back to Cohen's until they change the doctor.
Dr. Denise Whittam is the GOAT of optometrists. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. She always knows the best ophthalmologists when it is necessary for a referral to one. I always have complete confidence in her when she advises me on the health of my eyes and the proper post-exam needs. Dr. Whittam has an incredible work ethic as well. Thanks Doc.
