Columbus Eye has been very dependable and helpful for years. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr Wooten is a very skilled and thorough doctor. He considers each patient’s need and best solutions.
I've been seeing Dr. Wooten's associate, Dr. Bilkis, for many years with great success and satisfaction. I came down with an eye infection and am preparing for a 2000 mile motorcycle ride out to the dry New Mexico desert in a couple of weeks. Knowing that ride along with my dry eyes is going to be a challenge already, I have no intention of adding an infection to the mix. I called Columbus Eye Associates around 9 am and explained my situation, expecting to see Dr. Bilkis in the next day or two. They booked me for 3:50 the same day! I was happy about that. Naturally, I was the last on the list, having being "slotted in". I fully understand and had no problem waiting. What surprised me is that I waited until well after closing time! They were very busy and Dr. Wooten was the only doc in the office that afternoon. When he finally made his way to me at 5:15 pm, he was professional and personable. This was the first time I've met him and he is quite good at what he does. He did a bit of minor surgery right there in the office, relieving pressure and infection and sent me on my way with some great, reliable prescriptions. THANK YOU DR. WOOTEN and Columbus Eye Associates! FIVE STARS!!
Very nice staff; Josie was great; very friendly. Dr. Wooten was also very nice; he took his time with me and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with him.
