Columbus Laser & Cataract Center

I had Dr. Shah restore my vision with the removal of bilateral cataracts. My vision for distance is wonderful. I still need cheaters for close up, but that's okay. As far as the people at Columbus Laser and Cataract Center, you will not find a nicer, informative group of people. Dr. Kinkcaid did my follow up appointments and he was just wonderful. A young man named Patrick seen me before Dr. Kincaid came in. Patrick was very informative and knowledgeable about the after care of my surgeries. They never seemed in a hurry and took their time with my husband and I. They made sure all our questions were answered and that we understood. If you can say that any surgeries are a pleasure, then you could say that about mine. I would never hesitate to refer anyone to the Columbus Laser and Cataracts Center, and to Dr. Shah. She was fabulous.

The doctors and staff at Columbus Laser are the best!!! Dr Beran removed the cataract in my right eye a few days ago, and my vision is so much clearer! Colors are brighter and objects are more distinct. I haven't needed to use my glasses to read since the day after the surgery. It's amazing! Way better than I was expecting. I'm definitely looking forward to get my left eye done in a couple weeks.

I came to see Dr. Beran with terrible cataracts. Not only is it obvious he genuinely cares about his patients but the entire staff are great people. I visited his office 3 times during the process and waited just a few minutes each time before being seen. I selected the upgraded lens and the results are unbelievable! I now have 20/30 vision in both eyes and I'm seeing things with clarity I haven't seen in 30 years! The other incredible result is the vibrant colors, it's truly life changing! I haven't been able to play golf since last year and played 3 days after the surgery on my second eye! Dr. Beran performed my surgery at the Columbus Eye Surgery Center and that team is great too. They have a way of making it very comfortable and have the process down to a science! Both of my surgeries were about 2 hours from the time I walked in to the time I left! I can't say enough about Dr. Beran and his team!

They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The procedure itself went smoothly and was much easier than I expected. My doctor is Dr. Shah and she is great! She is very patient oriented and did an excellent job on my cataract implants. The procedure itself was actually very quick and performed with minimal discomfort. I do have to say that the Center itself can be a little off putting at first, since it is a pretty large facility. However, the friendliness, professionalism, and personal attention of the staff and nurses earn their 5 star rating.
