Complete Family Eyecare

I recently visited for a eye exam. Due to my special circumstances, I was given his name as a well qualified Optometrist. Upon arrival, I found the supporting staff to a bit unfriendly and after I moved from Nashville, TN some 14 yrs ago, this must be the norm for S IL. My 1st impression of the Dr. was quite pleasant and I agreed to buy my contacts from the Dr. In lieu of the usual patronage at Walmart of Carbondale. That was my 1st mistake. I was a self pay and paid for the specific type of contact brand I had been prescribed previously through Walmart Optical, I had brought in my old contact box. Let me just add that I am one sighted and my Optometrist at Walmart had retired long before my visit to this eye Dr. So, URGENT need for an exam was way past the time it should of been done. I thought all was well, hoping for the new contacts to hurry up and be in my possession. A week & a few days later, today, I called the Eye Dr. Office and wondered where they were. They proceeded to put me on hold and investigate. I live in the Village of Cambria, not Carterville. We ONLY receive USPS mail through a free PO B in the Village. NO USPS mail is EVER delivered to my house. We'll, that being said the Dr's office stated that the Carterville Post Office had my contacts on hold due to myself requesting them to be held there for pickup. This is an ABSOLUTE untruth! I didn't even KNOW they were there. This is not even close to the reason why I WAS SO disgruntled that I wanted to leave this review, the straw that broke the camels back is that the very contact that the Dr. Prescribed wasn't even the brand that was sent to me! What the heck! The young "Office Manager was a real "Snip" and VERY unprofessional! She talked about grace & mercy towards her staff for making the mistake but gave ME none of what she proclaimed. She was about as Two Faced as they come! I looked to them to HELP my vision continue and all I got for $175.00 is a headache and not only that, I am almost 65 yrs old and SHE had NO compassion at ALL! I am appalled at the "CURT" attitude of her so called position and because of this experience, I am giving this review.

My husband, Russell, recently in November purchased a pair of Meta Ray Ban glasses because he is visually impaired. The glasses will help him with his vision issues. The glasses are a big help. He wishes to thank Kylie for her assistance in helping with this purchase. She is very helpful and kind. We have been patients of Dr. Rudolph for many years and have received from him and the entire staff the best in eye care. We do recommend Complete Family Eye Care.

Alexis and Sara were so kind and helpful when taking my initial measurements and images. Dr. Dust is the most pleasant physician I've ever had the pleasure of seeing! Throughout the appointment, I never felt silly asking questions and he is clear and informative when answering. Ashlie was wonderful at checkout as well. All around, highly recommend!

Helpful, friendly, and patience with all clients. Very impressed with Dr. Dust complete exam and explanations! All the office staff kind and efficient. Glasses techs provided excellence, ease and honesty. Katherine being professional and personable assisted in the purchase of a second pair of glasses! Great experience! Very satisfied!

Right on time, the doctor fitted me with some of the best contacts I've ever worn. I now have 20/20 vision, something I haven't achieved with other doctors, though they got me close. So, a big thank you to the whole staff – everyone was nice and friendly!
