The receptionist was wonderful, the office was clean, parking was easy, and everything ran on time. From check in to check out, the process was smooth and efficient. Where the experience fell short for me was communication. The doctor and technician were professional, but much of the appointment felt very transactional. There were several moments where things were done without much explanation, and I left wishing there had been more discussion about the reasoning behind the diagnosis and more opportunity to ask questions. To be clear, my concern is not that the diagnosis was necessarily wrong. It may very well be correct. I simply expected a little more conversation and a little less assumption. When I see a specialist, I am looking not only for answers but also for understanding. I would also encourage the office to consider a few accessibility improvements. The main building has an automatic door button, but the suite itself does not, and the elevator signage could be clearer. Overall, nothing about the visit was terrible. In fact, there were several things the office did well. I just left with a feeling that something was missing. While it may be a great fit for others, it wasn’t the right fit for me, and I won’t be returning

It was delightful to see Dr. Roy Kim here at Cornerstone! Precious G. was informative and amazingly knowledgeable in examining and preparing my eyes for this visit with Dr. Kim. Kayleigh, warm and welcoming before the exam and after the exam at this office! She also encouraged the optical department right after the exam. Most offices have you reschedule. This office is quite prepared for you and your services. This is where me and my husband met a very patient and experienced young woman, Ally! She really knows her lenses and frames. Open and honest on what would be the best selection or choice for you to wear. Opinions matter. Overall, very pleasing collaborative teamwork at Cornerstone 160 Sawgrass Drive! Can’t wait until our glasses are in! So excited and very satisfied with their services! Sheila & Adam Goldsmith

Please save yourself the time and frustration and choose a different practice for optical and contact lenses. I've been to the Brighton and Irondequoit locations for both, EVERY time I've had an appointment they send me home, acting like "everything is all set" but then whenever I have a question, like "why can't I buy contacts online with the rx you gave me, even though you asked if I wanted to shop around for a different brand?" or "why it's so hard to get new lenses in my glasses even though my rx has changed?" and the answer ALWAYS and CONSISTENTLY been "you need to come back into the office for....*insert dumb reason here*" So Cornerstone, your staff is nice even though they don't know much OR are purposely keeping info from me so I'll have to come back in so they can bill my insurance again. Also, like other negative reviews, the wait time and organization of Cornerstone is bad. If you go for an appointment, plan on an entire afternoon.

All the staff at Cornerstone Sawgrass location were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked together as a great team. The doctor and staff members were patient, encouraging and answered all my questions. They got me in on time and through all the steps of the annual eye exam very efficiently.

I can't say enough about the quality of care provided by Cornerstone Eye Associates. From my pre operative care through my first surgery and the post operative follow up, Dr. Hanauch, Dr. Beisheim and the staff have been very supportive, professional and caring. It is such a comfort to be in such capable care during a stressed time in one's life. Thank you all for your professionalism and care.
