Costco Optical

Shout out to the optometrist for introducing me to the world’s fastest eye exam and reminding me that asking questions are apparently optional… maybe discouraged??? I’ve been a costco member for 18yrs (as an adult but honestly could’ve been born at a sample booth) and this is the first time I’ve ever left feeling like I was inconveniencing someone by being their patient. EVER. Anywhere. Especially when I’m paying for a service. Maybe they were having a bad day? IDK trash experience either way. I’ll be paying for a 2nd opinion because I left with more questions than confidence smh.. Btw the staff were wonderful and friendly and super professional. Exactly what I expect from Costco. I’ve never had a bad experience with optical or any department there. Costco raised me BUT my aversion to mean girl energy or any garbage adjacent behavior is making this relationship difficult to justify. In the meantime… maybe consider literally anywhere else for your eye exams ☺️

I was very pleasantly surprise by my recent visit because some of the reviews I read were very negative. I arrived at my appointment time and was taken right in. Dr. Mumi (SP) was very pleasant to work with. The rest of the staff was very attentive and professional too.

The staff is friendly and efficient. They make one feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Soliman actively listens to the client, and this combined with his knowledge and experience, is able to provide the best solution for the client's needs. He portrays both kindness and professionalism.

I advise you guys to please go to another Costco. The reception service was alright. The contacts lens fitting appointment with Dr. Sight was disappointing, unprofessional, and dismissive.

Francisco helped me adjust both of my glasses at the optical department. Separate from the optometrist, the hardware aspect was handled by the optical department. And Francisco handled business like a boss.
