Very disappointed, my old glasses from costco broke completely after less than a year. I was disappointed because 1. The first time I was at the counter they told me they are already closed even in Google maps Costco opticals showed still open for 30 minutes. 2. They told me they don't have the same frame anymore, so I bought completely new glasses there. They told me it takes about 5 days until I can get it. Now 2 weeks have passed still no response. Fazit. I should not have bought them there.

Very disappointing. The optical department is right next to the food court and along the very busy exit route past the cashiers, so it smells of hot dogs and pizza and there’s a frenzy of constant people and congestion 5 feet away from where you get fitted. I waited 20 minutes in this unpleasant environment for my turn to be fitted. This is the second pair of glasses from this Costco that are not right. I’m giving up and going back to my original optometrist. It will be expensive, but worth having glasses that are right.

I had a very disappointing experience at Costco Optical, mainly due to the behavior of one employee, Alexa. During a visit, an optical employee accidentally damaged my glass lenses. When I asked for them to be fixed, I was told I would need to purchase a new pair, even though the damage occurred during service. The interaction was rude enough that I felt the need to contact corporate. After speaking with corporate, Alexa contacted me and said she had a solution. I returned to the store expecting the issue to be resolved professionally. Instead, I was made to wait about 20 minutes without explanation while Alexa was in the restroom. When Alexa finally approached me, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. Alexa held out her hand for my glasses and took them abruptly. Throughout the entire interaction, Alexa did not say a single word. No “hello,” no explanation of what she was doing, and no “how do they fit?” when Alexa handed the glasses back. Alexa simply walked away. While the issue with the glasses was eventually addressed, the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism, especially after I had already raised a concern, was unacceptable and left me very uncomfortable. This experience fell far below the customer service standards I expect from Costco.

Great experience here! Came in early before my appointment to look at glasses and then after my eye exam I came out to check the frames again. Teresa was awesome!! Super helpful and explained all my options for my new glasses!

Horrible experience with eye exam. Got wrong prescription from Bayside. She wrote another wrong prescription second time again! For refund reception told we need to speak doctor, doctor said we need to speak managing doctor still waiting for refund. Definitely avoid
