7/6/2026 - Once again, I came here for a new pair of glass because most frames are at $69.99 with an excellent customer service. Thank Franklin for your knowledgeable and super advices and service to get my new pair of glass today! It is worth mentioning that all Costco Optical Departments now lead the nation to start using a QR code for check-in beginning two months ago.
Had a really frustrating experience at Costco Vision Center in Northridge. I went there just for a simple DMV eye checkup and to get my DMV form filled. The doctor didn’t even complete the entire form properly ,only filled in half the details. Because of that, I had to come back again, which ended up costing me a lot of time and hassle. To make things worse, I had to wait for almost an hour even for this incomplete service. Due to their mistake, I ended up missing my behind the wheel test as well. Honestly, if you have anything important or time-sensitive, please don’t go here. Really disappointing experience.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the Northridge location. Last time I bought from the Simi Valley location and they didn't even want to fit my glasses to my face after I bought them! The girl helping here last week even fixed those glasses without me asking. She was awesome.
I got lenses this winter at Costco, I have been with them for many years, this time I got glasses very big and I did not get help when I was selecting my glasses. I'm not satisfied with what I got, the lady at the counter was able to help but didn't expect the time need it with me. Also, I don't feel the prescription right, I don't feel my vision even.
I’ve gotta say, the team at Costco Optical is awesome! They’re always super helpful and patient, no matter how busy it gets. Every time I go in, they take the time to explain my options and make sure I find the right frames and lenses. You can tell they really care about their customers — it’s not just about selling glasses, it’s about making sure you leave happy. Love their service and positive attitude every single time!
