Okay so over all these people are absolutely wonderful and fix my glasses for free the only issue I have is there is always such a long wait you even have to take a number so if you're planning on coming planning on being here for a little bit

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We've bought frames and lenses from Redding Costco a few times. This time I decided to buy better quality titanium frames. The lenses fit the frames poorly and keep falling out. They got scratches from hitting the ground. The screws won't stay tight even during the 1st 30 days. THEY WILL NOT WARRANTY THEM. Whike the independent optometrist is good, we will NEVER buy glasses there again. Beware and do not buy!

How many times I have been receiving compliments on my stylish eye glasses! The service was not only fast but also remarkably accurate! I truly appreciate all the dedicated staff members at Costco Vision Center for their exceptional assistance!

Exam was fine, doctor was great. Ordering glasses is ok. Ordering contacts? Go somewhere else - the office woman who handled my kids contact exam and order is not very good at her job and she has an attitude problem. Took over a week to place the order for required trial contacts and then blamed “the optical department.”

TLDR: Staff is super friendly and courteous. One star only because they don't give you your PD there anymore and dont say so up front, meaning you have to order your glasses through costco optical. They no longer includeBeen going to costco for years never had an issue. Eye doctor came back after they built the new building off bechelli so my family decided to go update our prescription so we can order new glasses online. Staff and doctors were really sweet and professional. My issue comes when i was attempting to order glasses online, you need your PD- pupillary distance in order to order glasses. I couldnt find it anywhere on the prescriptions they gave us, though double checking found that our prescriptions from years ago did have it. I called to get it and was told they dont measure PD in their office, that costco optical does when theyre taking the order for your prescription. That they can give a “rough estimate” but that the only way to truly get it is by ordering your glasses through costco optical does I had told them multiple times in office during our visits that my intention was to order online. We had a whole conversation about zenni optical. Nobody mentioned this fact to us which leaves me feeling like this change was made to trick customers into keeping their money with costco. A non issue if you intend to order them through costco anyway but i dont appreciate the lack of transparency. We wont be returning.
