Costco Optical

Terrible experience at this Costco Optical. The staff and manager are rude, and they don’t bother giving clear answers to any questions. Just the same generic response every time. I’m fed up with visiting this place. Not recommended at all.

Amazing and good quality things!

They need to replace the person working the Optical counter. The doctor is nice but the Costco worker is extremely rude. Will not come back; do not recommend.

The service here is abysmal. You use the app to join the wait list. It says 15-20 minutes. 35 minutes later it says you are next in line, come to the counter. I am at the counter, the two store people are busy with other customers. So I wait another 10 minutes. One person leaves. I wait another 5 minutes and the salesperson asks if anyone hmgot a message it was their turn. I say "I did". She say, "No, did you get a message from Costco saying come to the counter". I say "Yes". She says "OK, what do you need" as she is cleaning up and putting away other items. I say "I got a prescription from here and I need glasses that are similar to my current ones". She waves me towards the display with the glasses "Go find a pair over there". She goes back to organizing glasses in a drawer. I come back with a pair. She says "How about these" and shows me she pulled out of the drawer. I say no the ones that I have are good. She says okay do you have a prescription I say yes I got the prescription here they said they sent it to you. She says well can you send it to me? She gave me an email address I sent her text from the prescription that I pulled off and a picture of the prescription. She gets those and says oh no I need the full prescription. At this point it's just clear she's not listening to me or paying attention at all since I already told her that I had the prescription from Costco and it was sent to them. So I just got up and left. I wasted a total of about an hour with no progress whatsoever. I will not be back to buy glasses there although the optometrist is very good.
