Costco Optical

Absolutely horrible experience. I love Costco, don’t get me wrong, but horrible experience from start to finish aside from one employee. Long story short, went to put in my glass order, put my name in the computer waited 40 minutes and showed up 10 minutes before they closed because no one called my name, then the associate was so incredibly rude and didn’t give me any information. I got classes that didn’t work for me, and ended up bringing them back and had an amazing experience with Danielle. Went to pick my glasses up today and had another horrible experience, which I believe was probably a new employee; she had short textured hair and gave me my glasses. Didn’t give me a cleaning cloth, nor asked how they fit, nor asked to try them on to see if I needed anything. I returned my progressives (Linked to the first associate, that was terrible), and she gave me an “Agh!” and sigh and then mentioned I would have to take them off for reading. She was able to tell me that, but never even asked how they fit or even had me try them on. I do not recommend them unless you absolutely need to save the money.

Appt with Dr. Naugle a few days ago. Very impressed, highly recommend. Emily's efficient and knowledgeable. Good sense of humor. Enjoyed my time with her. Their office in Costco is "smallish," but Kirra, Anna and Drago manage well. Thank you!

Actual exam was great but everything involving Costco its self was a nightmare. Even though you don’t have to be a member to use/access the eye doctor, they will harass you at the door if you aren't a member. I ordered my glasses thru my mothers membership and that was fine, but when picking the glasses up once again the door bouncers were jerks. I won’t be back to this eye doctor because of Costcos distain for non-members.

Tried calling in asking for help understanding my insurance stipends & relaying the info my eye insurance gave me to purchase contacts. I unfortunately was spoken to very rudely by an English/British accented receptionist. Before I could explain my situation, she rudely said “We don’t do that here!” I let her know how rude she treated me before getting off the phone and now I will be finding a new eye doctor! What a joke! Find better staff Costco!

I had an exceptional experience at the Costco Vision Center with Dr. Iwasa and the entire office staff. They went above and beyond to help with my extremely complicated prescription, making sure every detail was accurate and that I felt comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Iwasa took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions with patience and expertise. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional, making the entire experience smooth and pleasant. I’m truly grateful for their care and highly recommend them to anyone seeking thorough and attentive eye care. Five stars all the way!
