Really really great service. The vision dept technicians are true professionals. My 2-year-old twisted my frames to the point where my glasses couldn't be worn. I went in to see if perhaps they could salvage them, they could not, however they quickly gave me a suggestion. Instead of ordering some new ones and waiting why not put the lenses which weren't harmed into the same frame which they still had in stock even though I purchased the originals almost two years ago. A quick 5 or 10 minutes later I was on my way home...what a wonderful experience! Their prices are great in the vision center and the quality is superb. I give them 12 Stars a Haley's comet and a couple of Jupiter's moons

March 2025 Review: Our family recently visited the Costco Waltham Optical Center, and once again, we had an outstanding experience. This time, we were fortunate to be helped by Tony, who was incredibly kind, professional, and patient. He went above and beyond to assist my wife and child, helping clean their glasses, carefully updating our insurance details, and ensuring the prescriptions were accurate. His warm and friendly demeanor made the process smooth and enjoyable. It was also great to learn that Tony has been with Costco for 20 years, his dedication and care for customers truly stand out. During our visit, we were also happy to see Kira, who had helped us tremendously during our last visit seven months ago. Just like before, she was friendly and welcoming, and it was wonderful to see such consistency in excellent service. Jasmine was also incredibly nice and helpful, making our visit a pleasant one. July 2024 Review: We had a fantastic experience at Costco Waltham Optical on a busy Sunday afternoon. Out of all our past visits, this was the best, thanks to Kira, the optician who assisted us. My wife, child, and I all needed glasses and contact lenses, and Kira was exceptionally friendly, professional, and patient with our different needs. She helped us explore various frames, shared thoughtful suggestions, and even provided insights as a mom on selecting the best frame for our child. She also took great care in updating our prescriptions and insurance details, precisely measured the frames for a perfect fit, and even expedited our order since we needed the glasses urgently for an upcoming trip. She went the extra mile to educate my children about transition lenses and how they react to different light conditions, making the visit both helpful and educational. We left so impressed that we felt compelled to share our appreciation in this review. A huge thank you to Tony, Kira, and Jasmine for their exceptional service!

Even if you can manage to get here during their extremely limited hours- don’t bother. Both associates we spoke to were incredibly rude. First time we came, they refused to let us order glasses because we had digital copies of our prescriptions and not physical. Second time, I couldn’t join my fiancé because they are open for a very limited time mostly during working hours, and they refused to allow him to order my glasses despite bringing my physical prescription and pupillary distance measurements. It’s like they don’t want you to buy the glasses; their attitudes were so nasty, which is very off brand for Costco. Every other individual in every department I’ve spoken to has been kind other than this vision department.

Came with sufficient time, but they refused to help. They try to close early and get out of doing work.

Eye exam is fine. Hassan from optical center is both rude and unhelpful. He refused to check my insurance and said it would be a waste of his time unless I had glasses 100% ready to purchase.
