Every staff member I’ve encountered both in person and over the phone is nothing but rude. They will act like they don’t see you and make you wait even if you’re just picking up pre-paid contacts.

The quality of the lens, and the name brand frames that are a third of the price for the same model. I’ve wasted money in the past not taking advantage of their optical department. I even just bought a pair of their brand sunglasses but just bought a regular sunglasses without a prescription so I can wear them with my contacts, and I’m so impressed with the clarity of the lenses, with polarization and flexible metal hinges for less than $70. Can’t say enough good things about them. Now I just ordered a pair of glasses and they have a new transitioning (to sunglasses) that are a color exclusive to Costco called Sapphire; a very vibrant color between blue/violet. FYI- the optician is a separate company than the vision department. I just go to my regular optician and bring my script. They staff have all been very helpful and kind.
One staff was very rude and unkind. Unbelievable her aweful working attitude. I asked if my glasses was delivered or not, she said it is not delivered without checking on the computer. She finally asked my phone number to check it on the computer and she noticed my glasses was there. Using the key, she opened the cabinet door to take out my glasses, she was very upset and made a banging noise and hits the cabinet. I kept feeling very offended to see her unprofessional attitude. She slided my glass case onto me and said you just take it and get out. She did not want to tune in the frame or checking. Another staff came over, she helped me and apologized to me instead.
Costco has claimed they no longer take non-Costco lens prescriptions? I did not see this advertised but that does not work for me. Last time I got lenses, they ground them incorrectly. At least they took the return. 2 horrible experiences in a row, 3/4 visits end in failure for me.
Was told rather rudely by a staff member that they do not accept pictures of vision prescriptions, (Warby Parker and Visionworks have never had an issue with a picture of a vision Rx). My prescription is hand written so I take a picture of it as to not have to carry it around for a year. I went home and uploaded that same picture on Costco’s app and received my glasses in the mail instead without any issues. The staff there had an attitude of not wanting to work or do anything, which is sad when every other department in Danvers, like the pharmacy and the food court, go above and beyond for the customers
