Costco Optical

Wonderful service from Mary!! Gave Mary my sunglasses since screw & lens popped off. After repairing she also adjusted the sides. I asked if she could be equally kind to adjust my daily glasses. She advised one of the cushions was gone. Again Mary took her time & not only added a cushion but aligned the rails which immediately improved vision!! Thank you Mary & great Hire by COSTCO, South-lake! Give her a braise!!

All the bad reviews… take with a grain of salt. My experience was this.. I went in one day curious about their optical department. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist whose name I didn’t get. Start to finish it was excellent from booking the appointment to completing the appointment. Dr Luka and the team is fantastic! 10/10 recommend

Awful experience :( I don't like leaving negative reviews, but please beware that this company is not accommodating, helpful, or accurate. Last year, the doctor wrote me a bad prescription (was .25 off on left eye and .5 off on right eye) for a bad brand...even after communicating I had been using Dailies Total 1 for years, the doctor insisted I use Kirkland brand. Upon my first use, it completely irritated/dried my eyes. After opening the box, I used two pairs (four lenses total) before I decided it was unsafe to keep aggravating my eyes. Went to Costco to return, and I was told the boxes - worth a pretty penny - could not be returned/exchanged...so, I went to back to this office to weigh my options. Didn't have ANY. I literally had to throw away my contacts, and therefore my money. Go somewhere else that values patient care and customer satisfaction!

Called in 3 times with a simple yes, or no question no one answered. Made my way in and as I was being helped the phone rang twice the female optician refused to acknowledge it, the male optician was done with his customer and there was no one else in line behind me so they proceeded to finally answer the phone but the female optician aggressively stopped them and started to complain about the volume of the calls she was receiving and how it was inconvinient for her! This is part of their job and if they can't handle then they should not be held in this position.there is thousands of others who are looking for this job and could be better at it! Do better costco!

Dr. Chang is phenomenal. Usually I go to my eye DR that I usually go to since I was young for eye exams consistently, unfortunately the eye clinic I went completely closed down. I came here for both glasses and contacts. I am mostly writing the review due to the fact that Dr. Chang and the front desk assistant, Madeline, were extremely patient during my whole eye contact process. Previously, I had worn contacts before for a year and some months (2019-2020ish) but by the time I needed to renew my prescription on them & my glasses the eye clinic I usually go to closed temporarily, and then eventually completely shut down later on. Basically, what I am trying to say is this is the place to be since Dr. Chang does a spectacular job on vision care.
