I had a tough time getting my prescription dialed in when I switched to progressive lenses. Progressives left me feeling disoriented, so I reluctantly tried the dreaded bifocals with some assistance from the Costco Optical Department. After a few months, I reverted to wearing my old glasses for reading and lived with a slight blur for distances. While I liked the new frames, the entire setup didn’t work for me. Eighteen months later, I decided to give it another shot. During my checkup, I sensed that someone was eavesdropping my conversation with the technician as she took my eye images. That person was Dr. Halim. He genuinely wanted to understand my issues and took the time to carefully dial in my prescription. He nailed it! I highly recommend Dr. Halim for your prescription needs because he genuinely wants to help you see better.

Dr Reed is thee best. First time I went to see her, I didn’t know in the 2 decades of wearing contact lenses and glasses that they could be that comfortable (contacts) and good(glasses). I love her work! Not to mention professionalism. Preliminary staff is good too. Also, 2 pair of glasses for $460 is really a deal compared to the other place I used to get glasses from that was about $500 for one.
Beware: the optometrists will provide false information about what is covered by your insurance, denying (without even checking which plan you are on) that services, such as contact lens prescriptions and fitting/training sessions, are covered. They will, however, always try to upsell you additional services not covered by the insurance without asking (nevertheless clarifying first that the insurance does not cover them).
I received my first glasses with progressive lenses about 2 months ago. They were adjusted and seemed to work great at first, but as with anything new, that feeling quickly went away when I realized how difficult it was to focus on anything close by. I struggled trying to adjust and make it work, but I never could focus without great difficulty. Eventually, I settled on manually moving my glasses to get the focus right. I contacted the optometrist for a follow-up, and right away he set me up with Sophia. She asked a few questions, made some adjustments, and immediately I could tell things were right. It's been a few days now and I don't have to mess with the position of my glasses, and focusing on nearby things has not been a problem. I will definitely come in for some minor adjustments as needed, but definitely wanted to thank Sophia for knocking it out of the park!
When I try to see street names on a route often they do not appear. I’ve tried pulling in and moving to an intersection but street names just don’t appear.
