They have been awesome, I would recommend them. They are kind and helpful and always give me exactly what I need. Something I and some others have noticed. I have had an issue with ordering new glasses. and after 3 months I realized I had ordered glasses but never got a call to get them. My prescription was fine but I appreciate the slight increase in my ability to see. They let me know that they weren't sure and would call me back when they found them. I waited for 3 hours, called them back before their hours said they were closed but their voicemail was already forwarded. I forget because life is crazy and a week went by. I called again, they put my on hold and when they got back on they apparently lost my glasses. I will give them this, they ordered a new pair and the next month they did get there so at least they corrected the mistake but there's room for improvement tracking prescriptions.

When you go in, the service will be great. They’re pleasant and seem helpful. However getting your eye glass prescription is another thing. My appt was on April 17th, was told they’ll fulfill in 1.5-2 weeks, okay. By May 15th I call in for the status and am told they’ve been shipped to the store and it’ll be a couple days. It is now May 26th and I call in again about my glasses. The receptionist is confused, says we’ll need to “call the lab”. I then state I’ve been waiting almost 2months…she can’t find my glasses but did find the audacity to say they were supposed to be filled on May 6th, so it they’re only 20 days behind fulfilling, not 2months. As though that’s not a problem, especially when I’ve called twice now to check on the status. She checks the system for the third time to find that they’ve been at the store but no one “checked” them in. If you must, get your eyes checked here but I highly recommend you get the prescription and order your glasses from somewhere else that is reliable and will process it properly. SN: while I was waiting for my eyes to be checked, multiple ppl called in inquiring about their glasses, so them dropping the ball or not ordering correctly is trending at this location.
I had an appointment scheduled at the Loughborough Crown on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 8 a.m. I called the store twice to confirm my appointment day and time. I had to leave voicemail messages both times, neither of which were replied to. I also reached out online to verify and confirm my appointment, again no response. We are off to a fantastic start. I arrive at 7:45 on the day of my scheduled appointment to find the door locked and lights off. I wait in my car for someone to arrive and open the store. Someone who I thought was another patient pulls into a handicap parking spot about 7:55. This person gets out of the car looking like a hot mess. She had on fuzzy slippers, didn’t look like she brushed her hair for days and had NO handicap plates or placards on her car but felt it was okay to park in a handicap spot. I go into the store again and the hot mess who parked in the handicap spot is the receptionist. She had a bad attitude and a chip on her shoulder from the moment I walked in. I was told there is no doctor on staff and all the people who had appointments scheduled were notified of this. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. There was no empathy, no apology, NOTHING. She truly didn’t care. I was furious and ended up cussing at her, not my finest moment I will admit. I left and was able to get a same day appointment with Lens Crafters where the employees were actually courteous and looked like they showered. I am surprised by how badly my experience was with Crown as I have been there in the past and never had anything like this happen. I will never be back here again. If this is how you are now treating people you need to close your business.
We had a ball my entire appointment everyone including the doctor was hilarious. They provided very thorough instructions they were informative from start to finish. I honestly hadn’t had my eyes checked in a lonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg time. The doctor did my examination and explained her recommendations and the ladies upfront calculated everything and told me the price differences before I made a final decision. Great place to have an eye appointment!
Best place to get an eye exam/glasses. Every one there is super friendly. In and out in no time!
