*Google Maps Master Review* Truly ‘Above & Beyond’ - cleanliness, technology, & care. I have very difficult ‘bifocal’ vision which requires bifocal glasses… but what about bifocal contacts?!? Yep, they exist! The Optometrist took the prescription that the technology gave him and manually adjusted for me to try - again, again, again until we go it ‘right’ - truly amazing ‘old school’ care and attention that resulted in the best fitting I have EVER had. Again - super difficult prescription! The office is easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, comfortable seating, and accepts a TON of options regarding insurance. *Def Recommend!

I had a great experience with the doctor at Crystal Falls Vision Center, but my experience with the optical shop was very disappointing. I selected a Ray-Ban frame and was told the original price was $429. I was also told that my insurance provided a $180 allowance and that I was receiving a discount, leaving me to pay about $199 for the frame. Later, I checked the exact same Ray-Ban model on the Ray-Ban website and found it listed for around $200. This made me question the pricing and whether the discount I was told about was real. What made the situation worse is that I was not provided with a clear itemized receipt explaining how the charges were calculated. When I reviewed the handwritten breakdown, the numbers also did not appear to add up correctly to the total amount charged. The doctor was professional and helpful, but the pricing practices in the optical department left me feeling misled and overcharged. I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing glasses here request a detailed itemized receipt and verify all pricing before paying.
We’ve been seeing Dr. Mathew since 2015, and he has taken such wonderful care of me and my kids over the years. He is thorough, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He has the amazing ability to explain complex things in a way that’s understandable and doesn’t overwhelm. It’s been really special having a doctor who has watched my children grow up over the past 11 years. We’re so grateful for the excellent care our family has received at Crystal Falls Vision Center, and highly recommend him and his office!
Dr. Matthew is very knowledgeable and helpful. I love how he explains everything in depth. You definitely feel cared for and valued. The glasses are great for my husband as well. Unfortunately, I set up my appointment and my husband's back to back. They were running behind, which is fine, but nobody ever told us or apologized for the wait until I asked. My appointment was at 4:30. By 5:30, I decided to let my husband have my appointment and to just come back another day. They didn't call him back until 5:38. I understand running behind, but nearly 70 minutes behind is a little excessive for a standard eye appointment. My rescheduled appointment was only about 15 minutes of waiting, which is acceptable to me. When my husband's glasses came in, we were expecting to be called and informed. We were told 2 weeks and admittedly, he forgot about them. I called at 4 weeks and was told they would check. He immediately received a text saying his glasses were in. I strongly believe they were there the whole time and the staff just forgot to notify.
The overall experience was mixed, but generally positive. The male receptionist was a bit unusual — very energetic, though not always in the most comfortable or welcoming way. At times, the interaction felt slightly awkward. The doctor himself came across as very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. His communication style is definitely more direct and serious, with a strong focus on the medical side of things rather than small talk or building personal rapport. While the overall atmosphere felt a bit formal and somewhat “mechanical” at times, I still felt that I was in capable hands and that he genuinely knew what he was doing. If you prefer a very straightforward and professional approach, this office may be a good fit for you.
