This location is ran very well! Upper leadership needs to praise the manager of this location. The wait was minimal. This team was efficient, courteous, and conscientious — they were concise in explaining eye benefits, out of pocket costs, and glasses they offered along with additional products such as the transitions. More importantly, this was the first visionworks I visited with a provider on site. The southern Maryland locations always had video visits, so this was a nice surprise. The provider found an issue with my astigmatism prescription — educating me that it’s important the rx is placed where a patient’s eyes sit instead of in the middle of the glass. Very helpful information! This location should be a model for all visionworks as they truly set the standard.

My service at Visionworks was quick, informative, and completely hassle-free. I have been coming here for years, and they are always professional, helpful, and efficient. The staff takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes the whole experience easy from start to finish.

I had a very disappointing experience. I arrived and waited over 30 minutes while i had an appointment which I understand can happen sometimes, but when I politely asked how much longer the wait would be, the doctor responded in a rude and dismissive way, saying “people have to wait.” After that, he completely stopped communicating with me and continued talking to another patient who had arrived after me. The attitude and lack of professionalism made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. Patients deserve basic courtesy and communication, especially when delays happen. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with a staff member at Visionworks. I believe her name is Briana, as Abdul mentioned her name to me. The way I was treated was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. She hung up the phone while I was still speaking with her. I had to call back and finish my business with Abdul. I absolutely did not expect to be treated this way or to have such a frustrating experience at Visionworks.
