Dau Family Eye Care

I recently had an initial appt at Dau. Dylan was super helpful and friendly and his customer service was second to none. Casey did my assessment. She was extremely professional and understood my concerns 100%. She was very empathetic and patient. I highly recommend Dau Family Eye Care if you are experiencing vision problems and/or BVD.

This was my first visit to Dr Balo and was very pleased. She is professional yet friendly and did a thorough eye exam. The technician was also great who did preliminary testing , and the lady who assisted in choosing frames was honest in her opinions , which I asked for. Office is very clean and neat. I highly recommend this office on Longleaf Pine.

I had an appointment scheduled for 12:40 PM today. I arrived at 12:45 PM and was told that someone else was being seen during my appointment time. When I asked why, the lady at the front desk told me my appointment was actually at 12:20 PM. I showed them my appointment confirmation, which clearly stated 12:40 PM. Despite this, I was told they could maybe take me around 2:00 PM, which did not work for me at all. This was the only day and time that worked for both me and my daughter, considering the fact that my daughter did not attend school for this. This clinic is a 30 minute drive, so this was a complete waste of time. I ended up leaving extremely frustrated and later spoke with the woman who scheduled my appointment. She admitted it was her mistake for messing up the time. I understand that mistakes happen, but this should not occur in a healthcare setting where patients plan their entire day around appointments. An apology does not fix the inconvenience, the wasted time, or the frustration. If I could give zero stars, I would. Very poor service and unacceptable scheduling errors.

All people in this place are helpful and kind. They have gave me a lot of advice. I saw Dr Balo twice for my kids and each time the examen was very complete and with a lot of explications.
