I was in Tampa for a work event in May when I experienced an eye emergency. If you're having vision problems, don't waste time Googling it - go see your eye doctor instead! Since I was a few states away from my usual eye doctor, I searched for a nearby place where I could walk in for an eye exam. Fortunately, I found Designing Eyes just a few blocks from where I was working! I can't thank everyone there enough for taking care of me during a bit of a panic. Sharon, Karen, and Louise immediately contacted Dr. Laura Cuba, who came in to examine my eye and ensure it wasn’t a retinal tear or detachment (it wasn't, it was a PVD - similar symptoms). They truly went above and beyond to assist me and have earned my business for life! As an added bonus, they have the best selection of frames, are knowledgeable about their products, and offer top-notch lenses and upgrades. I'm having them make me a new pair of glasses as I type this!

doctor Cuva was very thorough. She has been there a long time and is timely. My Contact lens fitting was $49 including the special picture machine so that my eyes did not have to be dialated. i would definitely reccomend her

I had a great experience, a lot of other places don’t have the same quality inventory as Designing Eye. I was looking for higher quality glasses and the spot. I feel a lot of people are going to big box stores because they don’t know where to get higher quality glasses, this is the place!

I randomly came across this business after losing a contact and needing a replacement as soon as possible. Sharon had me come in right away and immediately got me seen by Dr. Cuva who was just as wonderful. During my eye exam, we unfortunately discovered a hole in my retina. Dr. Cuva immediately referred me to an ophthalmologist who was able to get me in for surgery the very next day. Dr. Cuva even personally texted me and offered to sit with me during the procedure since it was last minute and I was alone. Sharon and the rest of the amazing staff also called to check in on me afterward. I truly have no words for how kind, compassionate, and supportive these women were during such a scary experience. I am incredibly grateful and cannot recommend this place enough.
