This place is fantastic! The gentlemen I delt with were very nice and they helped me resolve an issue with my insurance provider and another optical provider, to fast track me getting my prescription sunglasses when I had been waiting months. They went above and beyond. I just received my glasses today and they are wonderful. Its like putting on new eyes. This will be the place for all of my optical needs moving forward. Kudos guys!

I had the most amazing experience at the eye doctor’s office today!! Barnett Schrier, OD, was incredibly thorough, patient, and knowledgeable! Instead of rushing through the visit, he took the time to explain everything to me and in a way I could understand! He answered ALL of my MANY questions and I walked away learning more about my vision and eye health than I ever have before! Wow! Just wow! And thank you so much!! 😊

I would most certainly, highly recommend Brookhaven Opticians for any of your eyewear or contact lens needs. I needed to have glasses fabricated for my elderly father, who lives in an assisted living facility in Suffolk County L.I. My challenge was that I live a long distance away in another state. I spoke with Paul, the owner of the store, & explained my challenge. He immediately reassured me that he would accommodate and personally attend to my father's special needs, & transportation schedule. He went above & beyond to call the ophthalmologist to ensure he crafted exactly what the doctor deemed best for his condition. Gary, who runs the business day to day, supported Paul seamlessly by ensuring every detail we discussed was meticulously documented & communicated to his team. In a day & age where mediocrity is the widely accepted standard....I can state from personal experience that Brookhaven Opticians takes personal pride in delivering EXCELLENCE to their customers. As a client of Brookhaven Opticians I cannot say enough about Paul, Scott and the rest of his staff. They are extremely professional and extremely good at what they do! They go way above and beyond for their clients let me explain exactly what I mean: I had an injury in my right eye from a work related accident and I had to submit all my bills through Workman's Comp and if you have ever dealt with them then you know how difficult that can be! Paul was able to help me get my glasses and believe me when I tell you it's a fight every time between getting medical necessity letters, reaching out and speaking with my insurance Adjuster's he never gave up and to this day he continues to still fight to help me with my eye care. I’m a returning patient and have trusted Dr. Schrier with my 18-year-old son’s care for years. I recently brought my 9-year-old for his first visit, and the experience was just as wonderful. The front desk staff was professional, friendly, and very welcoming. Dr. Schrier is truly amazing — he’s thorough, patient, and fantastic with children. He took his time, explained everything clearly, and made my son feel completely comfortable, even though he was nervous at first. Thank you to Dr. Schrier and the entire team for such excellent care.
