Came in for a routine eye exam and was blindsided by an additional $30 retinal imaging fee that was never mentioned when I booked. When I calmly declined and asked questions, the staff member became hostile and threatened to cancel my appointment. As a patient, I have every right to ask questions. It is the staff’s job to explain recommended services.. not intimidate patients into accepting unexpected charges. As an office manager myself at a medical clinic, their is lots of room for improvement. Maybe just getting staff that actually care for patients. Management needs to address both the lack of upfront disclosure and the unprofessional attitude of their front desk staff.

Worst experience ever, she just tried to sell me on buying something while there and that’s it. But worst of all, I have been trying for months to get a copy of my receipt and prescription and have not received anything. I’ve tried calling many times and in the rare occasion they pick up, said they would send, they never did. I have tried several times and each time it’s a waste of time. I did my exam months ago and still don’t have my prescription. Go literally anywhere else and spare yourself. I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business.
She is the rudest doctor that I’ve ever met in my life. Made me felt ignorant and third class citizen. Some people shouldn’t be working with people if they don’t like people. Never in my life have been to a doctor appointment and felt that I wanted to leave right away.
Terrible experience they do not state when you make the appointment that you are obligated to do the dilatation of your eyes. I went with my one and two year old ( not everyone has the luxury of having nannies and family in Miami) and had to leave ( obviously I cannot dilatate my eyes). Could you imagine, plus the florida statue states that you can choose not to do it , the optometrist just has to document that I chose not to. The front desk staff was rude. Will never come back!
I would give zero or even negative stars if that were an option. I had a scheduled appointment recently, and the front desk staff member "ISABELLE" was extremely rude. I usually arrive on time and wait about an hour to be seen, but on that particular day, I arrived 15 minutes late only to find out the doctor was not available. Despite there being no other customers, ISABELLE handled the situation very poorly and spoke in an unnecessarily harsh manner. This was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. Fortunately, I was able to find a much more professional clinic with a courteous doctor and receptionist for my future eye care.
