Moves offices frequently without telling their patients. So unprofessional!

I have the worst opinion of this place, which I went to through a referral from my health insurance plan because, based on my income, I don't qualify for health insurance through Obamacare. So I decided to get my glasses and pay out of pocket, $410.00 using a CareCredit card. They made me progressive lenses first, which didn't work for me, and I thought it was my fault for not adapting to them. However, another team of optometrists determined that the refraction was incorrect, so I decided to get single-vision lenses, but of course, they didn't work because they were made with the same measurement as before. After a conversation with the doctor, he explained that he would remake them but was sure I would return within a week because it's my fault my vision changes from week to week. What do you think of that? In the end, I have those glasses as evidence, as well as the initial progressive lenses as evidence of his incompetence, and I hope he can't do the same to anyone else for a long time.
Excellent! I've been his patient for many years. Due to insurance issues, I had to see other doctors, and it was disastrous. No one adjusted my vision like he does. I had R'K surgery, one of the first myopia surgeries to begin in Miami, and the doctor who performed it on me poked my eye so much that he damaged it, to the point that my vision fluctuates a lot. But thanks to Dr. Felix Torres, he's the only one who has been able to help me with this problem. I see 20/20 with his prescription, and quickly. With other doctors, I've spent up to an hour and ended up having to throw my glasses away. I highly recommend him, and his team is very professional and friendly. They treat you like family and explain everything very well. ILEANA DOMINGUEZ
It's sad to think you've found a service with that blend of humanity and professionalism and then realize it's not the case. A year ago, my son had an exam and glasses there. We wanted to return because it's close to home, and they were kind. Now I understand they're only kind when there's something in it for them. Of course, today my son's appointment for this year was canceled because he's 20 days short of the year covered by insurance. I called the insurance company, and they told me it was at the clinic's discretion. Discretion? Even knowing that my 11-year-old son's glasses broke 20 days before the appointment, and he can't see without them, they refused. Their service isn't mandatory; we know that as parents. Thanks anyway, and I hope they and their employees do well with their practices. It's their business, but there's always someone better, and luckily, I found them for my son's benefit.
