I stopped in to Walmart today for a last minute party gift for my friend. I used self checkout and after my transaction was done, I put the two items and gift card i purchased into the gift bag so I wouldn't have several plastic bags to carry out. I then went to the service desk and moments later one of the self checkout attendants is beside me, showing me a slip saying there were 3 unpaid for gift bags. I told him I only had the one, and took all my stuff out for him to see that I did not steal any gift bags. I presented him with my receipt. I am guessing that when i was loading up my items, the ***already paid for*** gift bag had scanned itself 3 or so times by accident. He is still there beaide me for some reason, so I ask him "Is there anything else I can help you with?" He says no and walks away. I try to leave and the door guy stops me and says I need to go talk to the self checkout hosts again. I am confused at this but return. Now the girl self checkout host working alongside the guy approaches me. I showed her all my items, my receipt, and she says she needs to go talk to someone. So I wait. Then I am brought to the service desk, where the lady and a manager disappear into a room to I presume review the cameras. Good, maybe finally they would see i didnt steal anything!!! Because this is the 4th separate person ive had to discuss this with!! The manager then comes out and once again I show them my receipt and offer to let them look through my crap once again. Finally I get an apology and I leave. I am now late for the event I was going to. I dont get angry at retail staff for doing their job, and if I had just had the one cashier check my receipt and items, I wouldn't have cared. But to be stopped in front of everybody several times by 4 different people, for the same issue, is uncalled for and not okay!!! I used to work for Walmart around 2017-2019 and we were NEVER allowed to hound people like this due to legal repercussions. Walmart, please train your staff because they may do this to the WRONG person one day....

I'm here I think weekly. They're picking up service is so fast, easily, and painless. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with them and I've been coming to this Walmart store for about 5 yrs. I've never had a rude employee as unreal as that may seem. Lately I have only ordered on the app and then picked up from the store, just so it's quicker but the inside has always been consistently kept up and the employees have always been very helpful and friendly.
I usually avoid this location like the plague since everything is locked up and you end up waiting ages for someone to assist you (i understand understaffing, loss prevention/theft issues and starting pay factoring into all of this, but it’s still frustrating nonetheless) but we went in today (6/19 at ~6:30 pm) and the 5 star rating is just for Zane in electronics. He helped us and went above and beyond, was so friendly and we left with a smile and a good memory. Thank you Zane for all your help!
Went yesterday on Sunday july 5th to pick up some odds and ends and my husband's SIL asked him to grab her a few buzzballs. We got to the register and the employee checking us out scanned the buzzballs and went to get I'm assuming a manager. Unfortunately my husband and I forgot it was Sunday and that they couldn't sell buzzballs that day as we ourselves don't drink that often but I'm assuming the person who came over was a manager who loudly (albeit probably unintentionally) announced to the whole vicinity that we couldn't get the buzzballs in a tone that sounded pretentious as if we were idiots for thinking that we could do such a thing on a Sunday. I understand she was just trying to help or didn't realize how she sounded but honestly it's was just rude people forget and make mistakes doesn't mean you need to talk to them like idiots.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. Went to a department and needed help. I saw not a single employee. I rang the help bell 5 minutes go by and nobody. Another customer came over because she saw me looking for an employee and asked if I knew where something was because she had been looking for help for some time. I did my best to help but in the end I suggested she go next door to Menards as they have plenty of knowledgeable people to help her find what she needs. I left and went to Menards as well.
