If it was possible to put 0 stars, I would... My fiance came here and saw Dr. Kelly Padgett for an eye appointment. He said everything went great and his new prescription is perfect. He recommended that I made an appointment, so I did. By mistake, I made an appointment with Dr. Larry Kelley, not realizing that there were 2 Dr. Kelly's (one with the first name one with the last) MY BAD. So I see Dr. Larry Kelley, he does an eye exam that was completely different than any exam I've ever had (I've had glasses sense I was 7). All he did, was look into my eyes, use the little lens modifier and write me a prescription. Due to my severely awful sight, I thought it was strange that he didn't blow air into my eyes and do the other normal exam stuff most doctors do. Trying to be trusting in his expert education, I order myself a pair of glasses with the prescription he wrote for me. Sure enough, I get the glasses and cannot see clearly out of them. At this point, I call the clinic back and ask to see Dr. Kelly Padgett to get a re-exam because Dr. Larry Kelley did not write me the proper prescription. Sure enough, at my next appointment (2 weeks after I requested one) Dr. Larry Kelley takes be back to the same room AGAIN. Why didn't I see Dr. Padgett? Who the heck knows... Being the nice person I am, I explained what was wrong and he re-examined my eyes. Well the prescription was pretty accurate but he failed to specify that the curvature of my lens plays an important role in my ability to see out of the glasses... So he tells me that it will take him the day to write my new prescription and to come back the following day, he'll have it written up for me. I follow up the next day at 11:30am. Once I asked the staff for my prescription, they tell me that they can't find it and they can't interrupt the doctor to ask where it is. So this is now my 3rd visit for the same god damn prescription I should have had the first time around (1 1/2 month of checking up). I finally told the staff to keep the prescription, I don't want it and I'll take my business elsewhere. It is completely absurd that I can't get a proper prescription written by this clinic. I've never had this experience in my life and I hope to never have to deal with it again. Not all the staff are awful and I can't say much about Dr. Padgett sense I never had my appointment with her... But this clinic was very difficult to work with and now I'm stuck paying for a prescription that I never got.. Thanks Eye Care Clinic, your awesome.

I did write a previous negative review and I finally got an answer back. We had a house fire and so I am delayed in writing this as I lost all computer equip. there was loss of life, injuries, etc. so I apologize for a the delay. Dr. Kelly Padgett did call back. It seems there was a disgruntled employee that had been causing issues and being one of the first patients it was done to it was not evident until over a year later. Since her partner had reprimanded me and never met me and refused to let me speak with her we spoke how that was just as much of an issue when she called me to clear this up. I am not perfect and if I owe an apology I will give one and have, but I won't take blame for something that did not happen. Dr. Padgett and I got along great at my appointment and even in this call which she had the guts to make. I applaud someone that did find out there was an issue and call me about it to get to the bottom of it. That is a person of integrity. I would recommend her and happy we did mend fences because I left there thinking I had a great appointment after seeing her.

Dr. Padgett is excellent! I took two of my children in for routine eye test. My children absolutely love her now. The staff was a delight to deal with. Everyone in the office was warm and caring. I forgot to ask for excuse for absences for school. I asked if they could fax them to the school and they were very compliant. I'm glad I chose them for my family's eyecare needs.

I have seen many different eye doctors since I was a child, and I have not found a better doctor than here. When I explained about having an aversion to people touching my face, Dr. Padgett was completely understanding and had no issues with me putting the eye drops in myself. The only issue I had was that there were no chairs available for larger sized individuals. When asked if a chair was available, I was told that there was not; however, the problem could have been solved by providing one of the chairs from where the eyeglass display was.

I have had great experiences with this office,Dr. Kelly Padgett has been very much help and support for her patients, only thing that is horrible is during this virus outbreak I can not get ahold of anyone in the office to order contact lens or even get a copy of my RX to go somewhere else... Other then that ...I overall enjoy my appointments each time.
