My first visit to Meridian Eyes and it was amazing 🤩 everyone I interacted with was friendly and attentive. My Doctor Kim Johnson is fantastic! Very thorough in my exam, in asking questions and helped me find contacts that were the right clarity and fit. I would recommend Meridian Eyes to anyone needing to have their eyes checked.

Dr. Rainey is a kind and caring doctor and I'm very thankful to have had an appointment with him. He asked questions that helped in determining what would work best for me in addition to the examination. He, also, was very respectful regarding my thoughts. Dr. Rainey is quietly patient yet jolly and focused. I felt like he truly cared about me. His receptionist was succinct and highly professional and obviously knew what he was doing. Imho, he was every doctor's dream of an exceptionally competent staff member. I highly recommend Dr. Rainey and his staff. If I could give them more stars, I would.

I recently purchased new glasses in the Meridian Costco on Chinden and Ten mile. Amos, in the reception area, was very helpful, polite and easy to talk to. Dr. Rainey did an excellent job in providing me with prescriptions for my new specs, made an adjustment to one, which helped things turn out great. The staff in the examination area were top notch, as well as the those who helped with selecting frames and ensuring a good fit.

I've had a great experience at Meridian Eyes. They have been patient and helpful and all of the staff have been kind. I have a child who needs myopia management, and was quoted an obscenely high cost for it at another local optometrist. We ended up going through Meridian Eyes and it costs a fraction of what the other office wanted to charge — the doctor said how much they want it to be doable for all kids who need it, which is a huge deal for those of us with bigger families. I highly recommend!

I can’t praise Dr Kim Johnson enough. I had been given conflicting information about my AMD diagnosis from two ophthalmologists. Dr Johnson was so patient as I asked my questions and she helped me to understand my situation. However, the most impressive aspect of my appointment with her was when she discovered I have glaucoma—another serious diagnosis. This is a disease that is incurable but can be helped if diagnosed early enough. And to think two ophthalmologists did not! They simply measured my eye pressure whereas Dr Johnson went the next level. Her ability combined with the impressive amount of advanced equipment makes them #1 to me! PS. And thank you to Amos at the front desk who is always so helpful and friendly!
