I had such a great experience here from start to finish. The office was busy when I walked in, which is always a good sign, but what stood out was how smoothly everything moved and how kind the staff was the entire time. Every single person I interacted with was warm, patient, and genuinely welcoming. The techs were not only efficient but also took their time to make sure I felt comfortable and understood everything. You can tell they care about people, not just getting them in and out. The optometrist was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, thorough, and took the time to educate me about my eye health in a way that actually made sense. I also loved learning that she works alongside her father. There’s something really special about seeing a family-owned business where both generations are serving the community with that level of care and professionalism. The pricing was very reasonable, and they had a great selection to choose from. Even the waiting area was thoughtfully set up with TVs and a fun tic-tac-toe board, which made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Overall, this was such a positive visit. It’s always refreshing to support a local business that truly prioritizes its customers. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care and a genuinely pleasant experience.

Great staff from front to back and it’s a private practice! The staff is thorough and Dr. Daniel Smith is really knowledgeable and personable. I can’t believe I didn’t find them sooner.

I absolutely love it here. Been coming with my children at least a decade. I don't mind the wait... which is no different than a doctor appointment wait. My prescription is always on point and the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. From contacts to color rx lenses for my frames, I've been nothing but satisfied. My children are now adults and continue to come here and my granddaughter is the newest patient from my family. Did I mention they're opened on Saturdays! And accept medicaid for both children and adults or private insurance. And love the fact that I can bring my own frames and they were able to make my prescription in Color Tinted Lenses to fit the frames! I make sure I use my insurance every year! So yes I have several pairs of prescription glasses in different color tint.

I’ve been using Dr Smith’s since I moved to Louisiana in 2009. This service provider is unmatched. The team are efficient and an absolute pleasure to encounter. Thanks for outstanding service. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
