I can’t recommend this office highly enough. I saw Dr. Tidwell and he was so kind and listened to my concerns. He also greeted me by name when he first met me as if he knew me - something that seems small, but shows that they care about each person who comes in. I recently had an issue that required me to call after hours and they still answered promptly. Dr. Allen listened to my issue and quickly sent in a prescription to the pharmacy. I am so grateful for their care and attentiveness.
I’ll be different. Dr. Faulks saved my sight today. I had gone to somebody in Nashville this summer for a normal exam close to my work. I asked them about a foggy eye/halo situation. Never said there was an issue. Sent me to a specialist for a potential problem. That was deemed little issue - wait for one year. My foggy eye situation kept getting worse. Painful, and dangerous to drive at times. I saw a friend this week that determined I had high eye pressure. Needed a specialty. I have no insurance At the moment - speciality people wanted stupid money. I called Dr Faulks. With initial pictures - he identified what the specialty folks saw me for this summer with me not telling him about it. I had high eye pressure - stupid high. He worked and worked to identify the issue and I needed laser surgery fast or I was going to lose my eye. The staff and Dr Faulks were able to get me to be seen in Nashville this afternoon. I drove to Nashville, had the procedure and for the first time in months have no halo issues at night. I spent a lot of money today that I didn’t want to. Losing my sight would have been far worse. Dr Faulks and team - I can’t thank you enough for helping me today. I can say that with both eyes - wide open.
I have known both Dr. Faulks and Dr. Allen for well over a decade. I have seen Dr. Faulks for years and would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone. These docs are not only excellent optometrists, but they are excellent men who live according to biblical principles like integrity, building up others, and doing things to the best of their ability. They love their families and love serving others. They are the genuine article, and anyone who sees them will find that they will receive quality service. I know they are also very good judges of character, so their staff is solid as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Since I don't know Dr. Tidwell, I think it's safe to say that if Dr. Faulks approves after all these years, I would imagine he's a decent, upstanding gentleman also. :)
I paid something around seven hundred dollars for glasses and a contact exam. My glasses I can’t even see out of. I talked to them and went back for a second checkup after 4 weeks. I was charged another $110. And have to pay to get more lenses and trial contacts. I was rushed through and treated as if it was my fault. That’s a lot of money I put out for absolutely nothing and found no help with them. Guess I’ll go to Walmart
