As a retired military veteran who has received care through the VA Hospital in Savannah, I have learned to appreciate professionalism, compassion, and quality medical care. Recently, my VA doctor retired, and because of previous experiences with a lack of professionalism at another office near Richmond Hill, I approached my appointment at Envision Eye Care with some hesitation. Since our eyesight is so important, I was understandably cautious about where I would receive care moving forward.
However, from the moment I walked through the doors, I was genuinely impressed. The office was exceptionally clean, organized, and well maintained, immediately creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
The receptionist was warm, respectful, and highly professional. The technician who assisted me was outstanding — courteous, caring, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. By the time I met Dr. Echols, I wondered whether the level of service would remain as strong, but it absolutely did.
Dr. Echols was exceptional. She was thorough, attentive, professional, and compassionate. She not only asked thoughtful questions, but she also genuinely listened to my concerns and took the time to address them. In a time when professionalism, respect, and courtesy sometimes seem difficult to find, I rediscovered all of those qualities during my visit today.
At one point, I overheard Dr. Echols caring for what sounded like a minor child in a nearby room, and I was genuinely moved by the patience, gentleness, and kindness she demonstrated. Her calm and caring demeanor spoke volumes about the type of doctor she is.
