EDIT: After a disappointing experience during a recent glasses pickup, I was contacted by Tonya, the store manager, who took the time to listen to my concerns and understand exactly what happened. She acknowledged that the situation was unacceptable and assured me that she would address it with her team and work on improving the customer experience. A few days later, I returned to the store. Although they were extremely busy and only Tonya and Gwen were working, I immediately noticed a difference. They greeted customers as they arrived, communicated expected wait times, and made a clear effort to ensure customers were helped in the order they arrived. Throughout my visit, they remained professional, attentive, and transparent despite being short-staffed. When Tonya met with me, she again apologized for my previous experience and thanked me for bringing the issue to her attention. I truly appreciated that she and her team took my concerns seriously and implemented changes so quickly. I have been a customer of Eye Glass World on and off for the past 10 years, and the level of service I received during this visit was much more in line with the positive experiences that kept me coming back over the years. While my initial experience was frustrating, I am impressed by how Tonya and her team responded. Their willingness to listen, take accountability, and make improvements speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. I have used Eyeglass World in the past and have generally had positive experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. If you are only going in to pick up your glasses, be prepared to wait a very long time. In my experience, picking up completed glasses is usually a quick process that takes only a few minutes if there are no issues with the lenses or fit. During this visit, I waited nearly an hour just to receive my frames. What made the wait especially frustrating was the workflow. While I was waiting, a staff member was repairing another customer’s glasses. After finishing the repair, a customer who had just completed an eye exam came out and sat in the lobby waiting for assistance. Instead of helping me, even though I had already been waiting for quite some time and only needed to pick up my completed order, the staff member went directly to assist the customer who had just come out of the exam area. At that point, the other sales associates were already occupied helping customers select frames and contact lenses. When one associate finally became available, she appeared ready to assist another customer who had arrived after me. I had to speak up and ask if I could simply pick up my glasses. Once she helped me, she apologized for the wait, and the entire pickup process took about 60 seconds. To be clear, the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and not rude. My concern is not with the employees themselves but with the workflow and prioritization of customers. It seems counterproductive to have someone wait nearly an hour for a task that takes less than a minute while customers requiring much longer consultations are consistently prioritized. I have never experienced this level of delay at another Eyeglass World location, and I hope management reviews the process because it creates a frustrating customer experience. The worker Ms. Gwen was the only positive part of the experience.

Cynthia was awesome today. I loved her customer service. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all of my questions.
Miss Gwen was extremely helpful very patient. I had to get on the phone with the insurance company VSP. They did not have my daughter enrolled. I was very very unhappy, but she made the experience easy and I will recommend eyeglass world to anybody in my family members.

First time @ Eyeglass World. Amazing experience! Eye exam was easy and comfortable, great Doctor. Everyone there were so incredibly nice, hospitable, patient, smiles on their face, and caring. And, just like the sky above, one "star" seems to shine the brightest amongst the rest, and that was Renee. Can't begin to tell you how lovely she was. Beyond sweet, and had a smile that was contagious. Renee helped me pick out frames. Her patience was very noticeable. She took her time with me to ensure the frames I wanted were not only comfortable, but fit my face to the look that matched. Renee even went as far as to break me out of my comfort level to get another pair of frames that were a bit different than what I would usually wear. So glad she did. Love them! What an experience, I truly enjoyed everything about my visit. Thank you, Renee!
