Incompetent and not trustworthy. 3 different employees at two different locations said they would call me back and haven’t. Thoroughly terrible customer service from their technicians. Dr Alfred is wonderful but unfortunately she works for a company that doesn’t value its customers. One simple phone call to follow up on the experience I had from any one of the people that should have and this could have been rectified, but here I am out over $600 for glasses and another missed opportunity to make it right. My family and I will be looking for alternatives and not returning to this company for eye care.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Osborne location of Evans & Taylor. I went in to pick up my son’s new glasses under the warranty coverage. Judy, who assisted me, was extremely rude and dismissive from the start. She incorrectly told me that the warranty did not cover the issue, even though I specifically paid for that coverage and the glasses were very expensive. When I tried to explain, she told me she didn’t care what I paid and then asked me to leave because I wouldn’t just accept her answer. At one point, even her coworker told her to calm down and walk away, which shows how unprofessional the situation had become. Being treated that way as a customer was completely unacceptable. I’ve always had great experiences at the Creasy location, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to the Evans & Taylor Eye Care. Customer service and basic respect should be a priority, and this experience was completely out of line.

I had a defective contact for left eye. I called to see if I can get a replacement/trial pair since I won't have an even number of left and right contacts. Creasy lane location said they could give me a trial pair and Osborne Dr told me they can't help me. It really makes me consider going elsewhere since the Osborne Dr location is the one closest to my home.

After 1 month of not receiving any notifications, I went to this location to get the status of an in-store order and was told that there was an issue with the paperwork that THEY prepared and the glasses weren't started. It was disappointing that they failed to notify me especially after being told I'd have a 2-3 week wait for pick up. Also, for exams there is a ~$30 unnecessary test that you are required to pay out of pocket for; to be clear it's mandatory and you cannot opt out of it. I've already stopped getting exams there and will now avoid ordering any glasses from them.

I have been coming to Evans Piggott for many years and I have always received excellent service. They project a service that shows they really enjoy having you as a client. I usually learn something new from my exam that will help me carrying for my eyes
