I had the pleasure to visit Eye Associates of Boca Raton today. My experience with Dr. Ramirez (who was recommended by my Parents) has been exceptional, providing top-tier ophthalmic care. She is an outstanding eye Dr. knowledgeable, caring and truly dedicated to her parents. The office runs smoothly, appointments are efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Alma Mas-Ramirez and her staff.
The exam was very thorough and I appreciated that their own professionalism exhibited by the doctor and the technician. I was absolutely appalled to learn that to get a prescription. I now have to pay $75. Why would I have to pay $75 for a piece of paper. It left a very bad taste in my mouth and I’ve been coming here for years.
Dr. Clauss is an exceptional physician. He is knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about his patients. He took the time to answer all my questions, and I felt comfortable and confident throughout my treatment. The procedure went very well, and I am extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Clauss and his wonderful team!
I don’t write many reviews, but exceptional care deserves recognition—especially because, in my experience, South Florida medical care has declined over the past decade. Since November 2023, Eye Associates of Boca Raton has been a refreshing exception. Drs. Ernesto Segal, Matthew Weiss, and Christopher Burr, along with their outstanding staff (Judy, Chantal, Justina, Cathy, Romi, Zimora, and Billing Specialist, Kris), consistently provide skilled, compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Segal performed a five-minute laser procedure in their on-site outpatient surgical suite that restored my vision to 20/20. At my visit today, I was thrilled to learn my eyes have improved enough that I now need just one annual appointment instead of seeing multiple eye doctors. Imagine that—an office that actually saves patients’ time and money instead of scheduling unnecessary visits! The efficiency is equally impressive. At my previous practice, appointments were routinely triple-booked, and I never left in under two hours—even as the first patient of the day. Today, despite additional testing and waiting for my dilation drops to work, my 8 am appointment was finished before 9 am. And when a recent billing error occurred, Kris resolved it promptly and graciously. Great doctors, wonderful staff, efficient scheduling, honest care, and excellent results. That’s a combination worth celebrating. If you’re looking for an ophthalmology practice, I wholeheartedly recommend Eye Associates of Boca Raton.
