Staff is very friendly and inviting. Answered any questions we had for first time contact lenses experience for my teen. Dr. Britt is amazing. He explained everything so well and always has such a friendly, positive attitude.
I had such a great experience at this office. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and efficient. The entire process felt smooth and well-organized, which I really appreciated. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable asking questions. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious they truly care about their patients and their eye health.
I love Dr. Pathapati. She spends a great deal of time with each patient. She is my son’s eye doctor, as well as my mother‘s. She remembers my background, the issues I have within my family regarding eyes and even rembers where my son works! She takes a personal interest in each one of her patients. Dr. Pathapati stays up with the latest technology and information regarding eyes and works closely with other doctors in the community. She is an outstanding ophthalmologist.
Dr. Britt ten out of ten! But the staff messed up. I made an appointment for my daughter over a month ago. At the counter the lady asked me if I want to do contacts for my daughter. We said yes. Last week we confirmed over the phone about our appointment. Less than 24 hours before our appointment they called and said do to staffing issues and Dr. Britt not wanting to do a contact fitting on a Friday they would need to cancel. Part of our appointment. We are self-pay and didn’t want to have to pay for a second appointment a second time to get done what we need. We explained that we come from out of town, Friday is our only time off and this should have been addressed OVER a month ago they did not care. Did not want to try to fix their mistake or take any responsibility for their failure.For years and years, they like to say that staff is the reason why they’re slow and don’t do things correctly, but this was the final straw for me. There are A lot more places in Amarillo I would recommend going then eye care plus When it was the original owner, it never ran like this.
Dr Britt was very personable, professional and polite. He explained everything he was doing thoroughly and made sure our daughter got the glasses prescription she needed. Highly recommend using Dr Britt as your optometrist!
