I have had the WOST experience with lenses from Costco. And it’s only Costco lenses. They cannot stand up to Minnesota winters, and crack. They cannot stand up to normal wear, to cleaning with the solutions they recommend. I have had two pairs of lenses that have failed. Become cracked and blurry. I’ve worn glasses for over 20 years and these are by far the worst lenses you can get. Don’t be fooled by the low price. You will pay for it in the end. And the customer service is also poor. Would never recommend to anyone I know.

The optician I saw was very personable and informative. After the exam I purchased a new pair of glasses. The staff is very knowledgeable and very ready to serve the customer.

I went in person to the optical department to make an appointment and have them check the insurance for my son. They took all the information and scheduled me, but on the day of the appointment, I called to confirm and they told me they didn’t have any appointment scheduled. They only made me waste my time and work hours

Dr William Miyoshi was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about what I need to know about my exam . Everyone were very friendly from the beginning and to the end . I am so happy to find him he is so friendly and he listen and spend time with you . I am so recommending him to anybody that needs an eyes Dr .

I honestly had low expectations coming in because I had a doctor I usually visit at a big name hospital and I only go to the ones in Costco for contact lens prescriptions. The clinic prior would check me in, do a quick visit, and send me on my way. I was lucky to book with Dr. Miyoshi! He was able to see both my husband and myself for our appointments and I have never experienced a doctor who truly cared for their patients as much as he does. He was thorough in making sure we were comfortable with our prescription, was personable, and gave us information to better take care of ourselves and our eyes for the long run. I usually get nervous to ask questions to my doctors because they seem so minor/dumb but Dr. Miyoshi truly cares about any concerns you have and will give you a thorough and informed response (and throw a few jokes in here and there). If you need an optical exam, do not hesitate to book with Steel Optical! They will take such great care of you. I'll be recommending them to everyone I know from here on out.
