I spent over $500 on Gucci glasses, and within just a few months, the screw fell out. I realized the glasses I bought already had defects from the very beginning-they replaced it with a silver screw instead of the original gold one. Not only did it look wrong, but it kept falling out again and again. The last time it fell out, I couldn't even find the tiny screw anymore. When I went back and asked if they could replace it with the correct color, the staff member had an incredibly rude attitude and said, "Sure, if you buy a new pair of Gucci glasses." That response was completely unacceptable. On top of that, they wasted my time before by asking me to come in hours earlier before my booked appointment, only to make me sit there and wait in case someone else didn't show up. This place clearly does not care about their customers, their time, or the quality of their products. The only thing they seem to care about is getting you to spend more money. Extremely disappointing experience.

As a federal officer, I have been a client of Eye on Design for over 10 years. They offer the best service and the best price in the Los Angeles area. I've seen numerous negative reviews here. I want to tell you guys. Do not argue with the salesperson if you have any problem; talk to their manager, and she will solve it for you. We are Chinese; we understand how to negotiate with our people. Don't argue with someone who can not solve the problem. I got new glasses this year, but I was not satisfied with the price. I called the manager and talked to her about the issue. She helped me solve the problem immediately. I am very happy with the new price she gave me. Recommended forever, 10 stars.
Optometrist is good but when I went to look at glasses frames the guy at the counter handed me two pairs over a $100 more expensive than my insurance. I dont mind paying over the insurane because of lense modifications. But the gasses are behind cases so I'm not about to ask for every single pair of glasses while the employees hand me too expensive shit trying to upsell me like that no thank you
Great serivice! The staffs here are very nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable too. My eyes have different visions. They were so kind and scheduled multiple appointments just to test my right eye carefully. I really appreciate their help. I also got the Blue light blocking option for my lenses. It's great for computer use.
Eye on Design blatantly favors Chinese customers fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin, treating non-Chinese patrons as second-class citizens. I chose this in-network optometrist for convenience, but my scheduled appointment was disregarded. My chart was pushed down for apparent commission-based clients, forcing long waits—twice in one day. The staff’s dismissive attitude and overt bias left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Paying $200 for such treatment, as a non-Cantonese/Mandarin speaker, was infuriating. The discriminatory vibe triggered painful past experiences, leaving me both angry and disappointed. The exceptional doctor clearly explained my eye condition, but this couldn’t redeem the visit. A follow-up appointment brought similar disregard, with no acknowledgment despite arriving on time. The manager’s apology and offer of sample contacts fell flat—the discrimination was too egregious. I declined and want nothing to do with this store, regretting not returning to my trusted Koreatown optometrist. Avoid Eye on Design unless you speak Cantonese or Mandarin and seek preferential treatment. Choose your optometrist wisely.
