Update*** why do you post your reply and allow your offer to cancel my appointment and they contacted my PCP and made themselves look all innocent. Why is this behavior allowed towards patients? Is this what your office and practices stand for? ****** Beware ***** Don't give this office your business, there's so many other pleasant practices, that are deserving of your patronage*** Never in all my years has this type of behavior be allowed*** When you treat them the same they cry because they're sensitive. No act right do your job and learn customer service skills. When your job is answering phones don't get bothered when asked questions! Barbara and her employees are rude ! I called in because I am a new patient and spoke with Will, which was bothered by a question i asked him. This office is sensitive and are allowed to treat patients poorly. Every issue that arises here is due to the management allowing their behavior. They forget that they chose a job working with sick patients and in an industry where you need better customer service skills, compassion and understanding. This office lacks all of those things. Barbara supposedly a lead or someone in charge has no clue in solving anything. Barbara has no clue where to even begin. I can only image how many patients they have treated poorly. Maybe take a couple of courses in working in medical field. You all act poorly and give horrible service. It's very evident you don't know or enjoy your job you chose.

Carla is knowledgeable and seeks to resolve eye issues. Most everyone in her practice at this location is kind and personable. It’s sad to hear they are closing/movibg. However I understand because the locations is saturated with homeless and the office itself is in a place while the answering service is the worst they experienced and I echo that. Impossible to reach the office you need. I got notifications that the office is moving but no way of rescheduling my appointment. Not sure who to contact or where to go.
Front desk staff good, doctor was not welcoming, lacked patience with me and i basically just wanted to finish quickly to leave. The doctor was correct with her diagnosis as the specialist I was referred to concurred with her. The specialist and the staff at San Diego Retina Associates was amazing! I will be changing my Ophthalmologist though.
Over the 5 years I have been going here, I have been more and more impressed by how thorough Dr Julazadeh is. It's true she communicates patiently w me, but more importantly, she clearly stays informed on a wide range of eye conditions and treatments. My sincerest to her and her team.
I was referred to EYE CARE OF SAN DIEGO by my physician for a annual eye exam for diabetes. I arrived early and there were 5 people already waiting in the waiting area. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful. She seemed more interested in my insurance coverage for glasses than my eye exam. I paid for my last set of glasses at STANON OPTICAL for several hundred dollars in CASH! I was turned away and turned off by the whole experience. Dr. Morton may be a great eye care specialist. However, I refuse to be treated rudely by the receptionist. Immediately after my appointment was canceled I called my doctor to let them know that the referral went very badly and I was treated as if I was asking for a free handout. My doctor offfice apologized and will take care of providing me with a new recommendation for a diabetic eye exam at one of the hundreds of other offices available in San Diego. If you’re looking for a friendly, inviting office, I would recommend you look elsewhere!
